So, my blue baby was created 30 years ago now, huh... It's just so unbelievably wonderful 😭 So I decided to draw something I've been thinking about since the day I've become a Sonic fangirl! Idk why, but I've always thought it would rlly fucking cool if Sonic had his name stamped on the Walk of Fame! Yeah I know my drawing isn't quite good, but still, if characters like Mickey Mouse and Tinker Bell were able to have their names there, then why can't Sonic have his too, right?

Anyways, I couldn't love this franchise and this blue hedgehog more, and I'm really fucking greatful for what they've done, and for meeting awesome people like you guys! Thank you, Sonic! Thank you, SEGA! Thank you, Roger, Jason, Ryan, Jaleel and Ben! Thank you, Sonic fans! Thank you, Everybody!

What do you think happened in between the announcement of him leaving and him coming back? I can only guess his contract ran out and he wasn’t sure if he would audition again and he changed his mind or something?

These are possible factors! From what I heard, the Sonic Voice actors had to do an audition once more for their roles late in 2020. I think that Roger felt that it was time to leave, but then was convinced to return.

So... Roger Craig Smith is Sonic again. Honestly, I’m not upset at all.

In fact, that’s pretty cool, but what a waste of all the effort and time in his departure for the professionals and the fans. Definitely money and contract disputes behind the scenes.

I have to be honest, I kinda agree with you. Even though I'm incredibly happy to see that Roger's back and all, I kinda wonder what the hell went on that made Roger say he left the role and then a few months later, totally out of the blue, he says he's back. Again, I'm rlly quite happy for that, but I'm still pretty confused
