goleuni:
His dismissal of the effects of his ambition on those around them sits ill with Arturia, who is little inclined toward such attitudes. Though she cares little for whether other Servants know her name or not as there is no Grail War to be fought among them, she still retains a semblance of reticence if only for the sake of appearances. Should Rider truly wish to face her in battle, then he will learn quickly enough.      As she removes her helm to answer him, however, she does not realize she has already offered him his answer. Â
âIt makes little difference whether you know who I am, King of Conquerors,â she begins, helm now held between arm and side, the other brushing her cloak away from her arms. âIf you must call me anything but Lancer, then you may know me as the Lion King.â Her other hand still settled atop her spear, she considers him, thoughtful. âWill that suffice?âÂ
â.. What? That appearance.. It canât be.â
For a moment, the king was convinced that his eyes had somehow deceived him. Though her form was anything but familiar, her face had roused such feelings of familiarity that it could not possibly be a coincidence. With eyes still filled with skepticism, Iskander took a step towards the self professed âLion Kingâ to observe her face more carefully.. And that was when he had found his answer.
There was no doubt about it, no matter how improbable it seemed. That face, though somewhat matured, had been burned into his memory due to the events of the prior war. Stern expression turns to a jovial one as he places his hands atop both of her shoulders and bellows out in joy.
âARTHUR! HAHAHA! This city truly is one of many surprises! To think that I would find not only Gilgamesh, but you as well! I was not aware that the British were capable of such explosive growth spurts!â
