Aukan Liwen, the traitor of Onirya

ENG: Not all light is good... Aukan Liwen, also known as a warrior of light, was a brilliant person, or so it seemed with his gleaming armor and the sparkle in his eyes. The Queen of Onirya, seeing his exceptional skills on the battlefield and sensing his seductive charisma, fell in love with him. It was a warm feeling of joy and it made her trust him to end a threat that stalked the world. For that she gave him a sacred trident. Aukan accepted the noble mission with a shining smile, he took the trident and promised the Queen that he would not disappoint her, looking into her eyes tenderly... he lied to her. The young warrior left and it was not heard of him again for a while, until the Queen realized that Aukan used the trident for her own selfish purposes. All that time he was feigning concern for her and her world. For this reason, I want the whole world to know your face, traitor, and I’ll show them through this metaphor what you did to me, coward. Note: "Aukan" means "warrior" in Mapudungun, and "Liwen" means "light" in the same language.

ESP: No toda la luz es buena... Aukan Liwen, también conocido como guerrero de la luz, era una persona brillante, o al menos, eso aparentaba con su armadura reluciente y el destello de sus ojos. La Reina de Onirya, al ver sus habilidades excepcionales en el campo de batalla y al sentir su carisma seductor quedó encantada con él. Fue una cálida sensación de goce y eso la hizo confiar en él para que acabase con una amenaza que acechaba el mundo. Para eso le hizo la entrega de un tridente sagrado. Aukan aceptó la noble misión con una sonrisa resplandeciente, se adueñó del tridente y le prometió a la Reina que no la iba a decepcionar, mirándola a los ojos de forma tierna... le mintió. El guerrero joven se marchó y no se supo más de él durante un tiempo, hasta que la Reina se dio cuenta de que Aukan había usado el tridente para sus propósitos egoístas. Todo el tiempo estuvo fingiendo preocupación por ella y por su mundo. Por eso, quiero que todo el mundo conozca tu rostro, traidor, y que se enteren a través de esta metáfora qué fue lo que me hiciste, cobarde. Nota: "Aukan" significa "guerrero" en mapudungun, y "Liwen" significa "luz" en el mismo idioma.

ENG: I want to dedicate this drawing to my grandma, I hope she’s free and happy now. As happy as this smiley character. She once told me that when I had my wings ready she was going to leave happy or something like that, I never understood the final part of that phrase. But when I finished coloring the wings of this character (that reminds me so much of my grandma), a few hours later we recieved the sad news: she passed away. I hope she’s happy now and she’s able to reach freedom. We loved you so much, grandma, and we are going to remember you with love forever.

Note: I’m sorry if my English is not perfect, it’s not my first language

ESP: Quiero dedicarle este dibujo a mi abuela, espero que ella ahora esté libre y feliz. Tanto como este personaje sonriente. Una vez me dijo que cuando yo tuviera listas mis alitas ella se iba a ir feliz o algo así, nunca entendí el final de esa frase. Pero cuando terminé de pintar las alas de este personaje (que me recuerda tanto a mi abuela), a las pocas horas recibimos esta triste noticia de que ya no estaba con nosotros. Espero que ella ahora esté feliz y que pueda alcanzar la libertad. Te quisimos mucho, abuela, y te recordaremos con mucho cariño siempre.
