hc + first concert

headcanons / accepting

     Her first concert was seriously with Andrei. ( Most firsts were with Andrei because who else would convince her to stop playing piano or staying at home ? ) It was some band doing their very first tour. Def Leppard they were called ?  The music was new and a bit alarming. Definitely not her style but she liked it anyways. Live performances had an indescribable quality that she loved compared to listening to music on a record or cassette.

     It’s so gross. They’re the worst. They have stupid nicknames for each other. They go on vacations together. They have friendship bracelets that they made for each other ( they spelled out their names with letter beads ). They live together too. Andrei is so comfortable around her that he wanders the apartment naked. Bianca wears his t-shirts and looks better in them than he does. One time during New Year’s, Bianca was drunk-whining about having no one to kiss so Andrei kissed her when the clock struck 12. These two are so close that it’s infuriating.

    All silliness aside, they’re very close. They’ve known each other since they were teenagers and stuck with each other throughout most of their twenties. It would be hard to deny the connection they had. Bianca was the very first person he came out to since he trusted her so much. 

    I like to think that they’re soulmates since there’s obviously such thing as a platonic soulmates. Not everything is romantic. Even after the demise of Mascarade and after they’ve effectively moved on from that era, they still come back to each other. There really wasn’t any need for them to reunite. Mascarade had been so successful that both of them were pretty much set for life. Andrei had plans for another solo album while Bianca had put her focus on raising her infant son. They didn’t reform because of money or because the fans wanted it. They reunited because they missed each other so much and loved making music together.
