Basic car mat cleaning
To clean car mats and extract any trapped dirt or debris, start by removing the mats from the car and shaking them out to remove any loose dirt. Next, vacuum the mats thoroughly to remove as much dirt and debris as possible. Then, mix a small amount of water with a mild detergent in a bucket. Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the soapy water and use it to scrub the mats, paying extra attention to any stains or heavily soiled areas. Once you've scrubbed the mats clean, use a hose or a bucket of clean water to rinse off the detergent. Finally, use a wet/dry vacuum or a carpet extractor to remove any remaining water and dirt from the mats. Let the mats air dry completely before placing them back in the car.
