HOW DOES RECRUITING WORK?
we recruit on a monthly basis– as in after each issue is published, we refresh and recruit again for the following month!
this is to keep it fun and respect everyone’s time outside of tumblr! we understand scheduling needs change from month to month, theme to theme :)
for example, we are currently recruiting for our MAY issue. if you enjoy working with us, you would simply fill out the form again when we recruit for JUNE :)
RECRUITING OCCURS ON A ROLLING BASIS UP UNTIL THE PUBLISHING DEADLINE! As long as you submit your magazine spread by the submission deadline, we're all good!!!
WHAT DOES THIS POSITION ENTAIL?
JOB TITLE: FASHION EDITOR.
create a minimum ONE PAGE magazine spread (dimensions would be provided to you) highlighting OUTFITS or CUSTOM CONTENT CAS PIECES (that are freely available)– hair, makeup, accessories, anything!! the world is your oyster :)
there would be an overarching theme that would be provided to relate the outfits to! we’re trialling the theme idea :)
JOB TITLE: LIFESTYLE EDITOR.
as this is a magazine– and its primary focus is fashion– fashion is a lifestyle :) if you would like to highlight items or decor or some sort of other .package that has elevated your experience– your spread can also focus on this too! it can be in the form of an advertisement/ lifestyle edit– its totally up to you!
this position would also require you to contribute minimum ONE PAGE to the issue :)
an overarching theme would be provided as guidance!
JOB TITLE: COMMUNITY AND CULTURE EDITOR.
there will also be a COMMUNITY SIGHTINGS/GOSSIP page (which won’t involve actual gossip) but local simblr stories, bachelorette challenges, pack reviews, etc.! this would be a cute way to get simblr rolling again :)

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO CREATE FOR C.C.?
you must be 18+ to apply
there will be a deadline to submit your content by, just because it’ll be a big group effort! no hard feelings and no penalties if you’re unable to get it in by the deadline, it might not be “published” in that issue :)
this is for fun!!!! pls remember that :) and also pls don’t be zionists or trumpies or homophobes or racist or anything else awful because :( and that’ll be another reason why we can’t have nice things :(

hiii! a qesion. if i would like a cc ad, would i have to pick one of my items myself or could i lay that task on the editors lol. or could it be just my creations in general? ive created alot of cc over the years and most notably my 4 latest collections. i suppose if we're thinking along the lines of magazines for any april edition, it would be spring related things. and i have a spring collection, could i apply with spring collection and editor choose an item themselves from it? im not sure im making any sense here???? sorry and thank you???? bye have good something???

Hello! I was wondering- is the magazine going to be sim world immersive or more meta? For example are sims going to be referred to as the reader and target audience, like “here we have Zoe, she’s wearing from the designer {insert creator name}! You could have this in your closet by the end of the day!” Or more of a “this sim is wearing {insert creator name} you can download here”

omg that's a great question!!!! we definitely are aiming for in-game immersion and encouraging it, sort of why we have the "sponsorship" program open, requesting simblrs to reach out and "advertise" in our magazine!! as it is the first issue, we didn't want to limit anybody's creativity so it might not be 100% totally immersive across the magazine, but it definitely will be for the next upcoming issues <3

what will advertising look like?
sponsoring might look different across different spreads, it might be an ad for a movie/ tv series (i.e., this would advertise a sim story), an ad for a product/ designer (i.e., this would advertise a CC creator) and so on.
we're pretty much open to advertising anything! :) if you have any ideas for how you would like your creation advertised, let us know!

i'm an editor for the magazine already, can I apply to sponsor?
yes, you totally can! we would just request you still fill out the form and once we confirm your sponsorship, we would just ask you to make your own advertisement, as it would probably be the quickest method :)
can I make my own advertisement as a sponsor?
yes, you totally can! once you're accepted as a sponsor, we will send you more information on the canvas size and other regulations <3
how many advertisements are you accepting?
there is no set number, it's more like... how many advertisements we can crank out in time for April 11 :) if you are willing to create your own advertisement and submit it by April 10th, the chances are 99.999% that we would accept :)
why is reblogging this post a requirement in order to apply for sponsorship?
because it'll show that you're truly willing to ruin your impeccable feed with simblr community content! if you're not willing to do it now, you probably won't want to later :( cas couture can only fuel itself on my hopes and dreams for so long until it burns out :( the aim is for blog interaction, making (age-appropriate) friends and having a good time!!!!
