I take accusations like this VERY VERY seriously. I want to be absolutely sure when an ass tap occurs and to what extent it occurs.

After reviewing the footage provided, the I conclude that there is no convincing evidence of an ass tap.

A clapping sound IS indeed heard. We all know that TK's ass is phat™ but I'm not sure it is phat™ enough to make that much of a clapping sound through jeans. I'm also suspicious of the angle, and the reach-around abilities of Carlos' arm.

I believe it was a elbow/arm tap. This ruling is open to challenge.

when cas doesn’t know exactly how to tell dean how he feels, he leaves dean little poems scratched out on napkins or torn pieces of paper for dean to find. sometimes they’re tucked into the handle of dean’s morning cup of coffee. sometimes there’s a poem stashed on the steering wheel of the impala, or a note with a poem quietly slipped into dean’s jacket pocket for dean to find later when he puts his hands into his pockets and brushes his fingers against the folded paper.

and sometimes, dean writes something back; flips the paper over and writes a response. because writing is easier than saying the words out loud. so dean slips the note back into cas’ trenchcoat or tapes it to the top of the bottle of honey in the cupboard for cas to find. and it’s dean’s favorite way of communicating with cas. because it’s theirs. a silent conversation written on tiny pieces of paper. poems and notes and little confessions traded back and forth; their feelings and desires spilled out onto the page like a promise.

Idk I just feel like it needs to be understood that Iris isn’t like every other neurotypical regular joe. She’s medicated because she has a mental illness. She doesn’t see her questioning as rude, she’s not even trying to be funny. She’s literally asking TK questions because she wants to know the answers.

And TK doesn’t come across as hurt by her questions to me either? He’s taken aback because yeah it’s a little much to have someone you just met shooting so many questions at you, some that probably should have been inside thoughts instead. He looks at Carlos and Carlos reassures him that she’s not overstepping, just being curious. He would step in if she crossed a line, but this is Iris, someone he has known a long time. She was his best friend, he knows her and knows this isn’t something to be worried about. Yet he reassures TK with his looks, he’s right there and he knows that his fiancé can handle some reasonably harmless questions.

The people I’ve seen on other platforms bending over backwards to act like Carlos is a bad partner for not “defending TK from being attacked” is just doing my head in. There was no attack, there was no malicious intent and Carlos made sure to pre warn TK that she might be a little on the nose, but she doesn’t mean to be rude.

He knows his fiancé could easily take this personally if he let his thoughts take him down that path, but he knows both of these people intimately. He wants them to get along, and maybe that will backfire, but from this scene alone he’s respecting both of them. He’s not cutting Iris off and making her feel uncomfortable, and he’s doing his best to subtly comfort TK whenever he looks at him with his reactions. TK isn’t upset here he’s just processing this new person who is firing questions at him that he doesn’t know how to answer, and doesn’t have a rapport with yet.
