I don’t think I’ll ever get over the realness of Ziam. And I don’t mean just the way they look at each other or how much they care about each other. It’s just that they’ve always struck me as very visceral and real. They maybe dreamy lovebirds sometimes, but their relationship, at least how I’ve perceived it, has never come across like and idealistic fairytale or an over dramatic angst fest. It’s so simple in a way. Two people slowly and cautiously become friends, realize their feelings for each, maybe don’t get together right away not because of overalls dramatic miscommunications but because it doesn’t seem possible/able to work at that time. Then they slowly have to sort themselves out until they finally get together. Of course they’re happy, but they still have challenges and their rough patches. And sometimes they get frustrated or angry, but they do love each and they’ve built up such a beautiful sense of mutual trust, respect, and understanding. I don’t know, maybe it’s because it’s past 3am and I haven’t slept, but Ziam just seems so natural and it just makes me very emotional.
