There’s Giacomo, bringing food to Penny in her work space.

“Thanks for all your hard work, Pen— we couldn’t had done any of this without you! The turn out was incredible!”

They look up from behind a series of laptops, a small smile on their features upon seeing the other.

"Glad to be of help. I tried to be as subtle as possible while still pushing things, and it worked incredibly well." She accepts the food, giving a nod. "If there's anything else you need me to do, let me know. We're a team, and always will be."

Oh no. Penny watches the disaster unfold, raising a brow at the other's words. "I mean, yeah, not with all this smoke." She shouldn't be the one to talk here, though... They were absolutely horrid at cooking too. "Is there something on fire? Do I need to call upon my Vaporeon?"

“I don’ know a lot about computers. That’s Dosh’s thing.”

They grab a Mountain Dew and take a sip, sighing.

“But it’s easy. I could show you. Believe me, if I thought you’d fuck it up I wouldn’t say nothin.”

She sighs too, giving a shrug. "If you think I'm not hopeless at this, that is. I want to get better, I just don't know how."

Ree pops the rest of whatever this is supposed to be in their mouth. It crunches more as they chew it. They swallow without any trouble and lean back.

“Pound cake is barely baking. You only need four things for a pound cake: flour, eggs, sugar, and butter.”

"But you could get sick..."

Nonetheless, they finish the entire thing. But how...? "...I... I still think I'll mess it up somehow. I'm much better at things to do with computers." She could hack into government systems no problem if she really tried, but making a pound cake? Nah.

“Nah, dude, it’s fine.”

they’re … they’re still eating it. Ree takes another large bite and chews. The whole thing crunches.

“I mean. You could start with a pound cake. Those are hard to fuck up.”

"...Why are you still eating it?" Penny frowns. The thing they made was pretty inedible, so why was Ree still eating?

"A pound cake...? Pretty sure I'd still fuck that one up, though. Isn't baking even harder than cooking?"

They take it and pop it into their mouth without a single second of hesitation. They bite down, and the crunch is … audible.

They frown. Here she thought they were getting better at cooking.

"Nor is it nice. I want to get better at this... but I don't really know where to start, honestly."

Before Lynn could even finished her farewell she noticed the slyveon pushing their way through the door. She could have sworn she saw some project going on inside. Though she couldn't make it out clearly. And now her focus was on Penny's partner. Or at least she assumed it was.

"Oh~"

Lynn smiled at the so called intertwining pokemon, her hand dug into her bag digging one of her patterned poke-beans to offer.

"There we go. And no worries its on the house. We give these as a bonus treat to anyone that orders from our services," she added reassuringly.

"On the house...? Thank you." Penny nods, watching their Sylveon happily chew away at the bean. The others noticed, however, and soon her entire team was stationed at the door, throwing it open and eagerly giving baby-doll eyes up at the stranger.

There was her Umbreon, Leafeon, Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon, now, too.

"...Ah. Sorry. They get jealous easily. C'mon guys, take it easy..." She sighed, shaking her head. "My name's Penny, by the way..."

What even was going on right now? This was a legendary Pokémon from a different region, right? Why was he speaking to her?

"You're here... For the Terastallization Phenomenon...?"

They turn to glance over at the nearby Pokémon. Ah, yep. That one was gonna terastallize alright. "Uhm. I'm. I'm okay? H...How are you?"

This definitely was weird.

obviously, they do. That’s pretty much skull’s motto. Ree shifts the helmet on their head and buckles the strap of it, peering down the hill.

“You only live once, yeah? It’ll be fine. Just give me a push and we’ll see how far I can fly.”

Penny takes a deep breath. Oh dear, this might be a disaster, but... They have a helmet on at least? They squint their eyes shut and give the other a push. You only live once.

Lynn's expression remained somewhat skeptical. Especially with the vague answers she was receiving. Regardless she shrugged her shoulders to dismiss it. Not really her business, right?

"Hmm.. I believe it is all paid for let me check," she replied turning to her rotom phone hovering nearby. Sure enough it was and Lynn gave a thumbs up to confirm this.

She could tell the strange girl was in a hurry for something. Still though.

"Are you sure everything is okay in there though?" she asked handing the bag of food over to Penny.

They accept the bag of food, before giving a nod.

"Yeah. 's all okay."

Now what... Penny didn't know how to cut off the conversation politely, and simply stared at the other for a bit. "..."

Maybe she'd just leave...? A curious Sylveon nudges the door a little further open, peeking out at the stranger. [ "Syl!" ]

"Err. Hello." She closes the laptop instinctively. "...That'd be me, yes." Another round of LL scouting...? No, that couldn't be, right? Not for her... The man would probably ask her for directions to another student or something.
