#THIS SHOWWWWWWWWWWWW god the way i didn't even think about The Bed until rhaenyra stood there staring at it #it hit me like a deluge all at once like goddddddddd #where her father died and where the usurper slept and where her childhood love betrayed her #all of the worst moments of rhaenyra's life happened there #even if she wasn't present for any of them really #that episode was a magnificent triumph of this entire genre and show and endeavor however #the quiet scene with no dialogue no flashbacks of her standing at the foot of it.... of all the haunted places in this haunted house #THAT is the most haunted for her. in a show based on a book about the known history of the targs #that scene about the unknown moments behind closed doors in the most private place; the monarch's bed....... god......
