as much as I hate that Neiderman named the love interest in Shattered Memories “Troy” because it’s disrespectful to the one and only Troy Tatterton… I still have to admit that the Mirror Sisters trilogy was actually pretty good
To this day, no single book or book series has ever really compared to the dark and disturbing world of the Dollanganger Family Saga for me. I mean, I read those books as a kid. Like maybe when I was ten. And they are still, to me, the most messed up books on the planet. And yet I devoured all five of them. No, it’s not my very favourite book series, but it really has stuck with me.

I’ve read like 300 pages of a VC Andrews book in the last 24 hours and I’m kind of racing to finish it because it’s all such a bummer. Like, my god, what more terrible things can these people do to each other?

when you have a ton of books and no space on your shelves but then you rearrange and magically there’s so much space now so you feel the urge to buy more books until there’s no more room again
