about people saying movie sonic is insufferable, movie sonic is annoying but he’s MY ANNOYING LITTLE GUY!!!!! I LOVE HIM FOR BEING ANNOYING!!!!!

I feel like I give Sonic more grace about being annoying because he was isolated for like 7-10 years and grew up from watching people and literally watched movies from a window so I don’t get irritated with Sonics little quips I find them endearing. But I totally get why people can find them to be cringy and unnecessary

I feel like people aren't understanding that the movies are their own story, too!! They keep bringing up Sonic Adventure as if they're supposed to follow that script scene by scene.

They also keep forgetting that movie verse Sonic is young! He's still a kid, and he's just beginning his hero story. Of course, he's gonna be cocky and naive, but that's completely okay because he's still a kid. Even if he doesn't change, who cares! He's Sonic. He's supposed to do things his own way. He's living freely, and he deserves it after being isolated for so long.

Oh my gosh, and to all the people calling him cringe. He's like, what? 12, maybe? Y'all ever been around a 12 year old? They have their moments, but guess what? They're twelve!!! It's normal!! They're growing up and trying to figure themselves out and the world around them. Give them some grace 🙂‍↕️
