new incan abraham record!
'palace' is the first single from the upcoming antlers album, familiars.
this is worth spending some time watching this weekend. la blogothéque put together this film featuring brandon flowers & dawes, father john misty, and local natives to celebrate the release of johnny cash's lost album out among the stars.
these guys. new album. loving this track right now..
this is one band worth seeing live if you get the chance!
last night i went to see daniel rossen but instead fell in love with the music of william tyler. daniel was great, of course, but you can't beat the feeling of when you unexpectedly discover something new..
i just cannot get enough of this song lately..

if you haven't already heard the falls you really should go take a listen. no really, go listen. in this day and age where this new album sounds just like that guy's album and more people are adding edm or pop elements where they really shouldn't be, the falls keeps it simple. they do folk because it's what they do best. nothing forced. good music is never forced.
their ep, into the fire, dropped today in the us. i look forward to hearing more of these two in the future and i imagine so will a lot of others.
