        {      hi, yes, I disappeared from here a bit. I’ve been distracted by life and by setting up a new multimuse account because I’m awful™. so  think I’ll try to do drafts here soon(ish) but you can also find me hanging out with some of my lame scifi characters over here !!

         “Um ---- I was talking to a tree,” she admitted awkwardly,          face a bit flushed with some embarrassment as her hands          fell away from the bark.                                             “It was talking back, if that helps...?”

She fumbled with keys for a moment before holding open the door to the building for him. “So, dicks have made me appreciate you more, then.”

                    Such a S I M P L E question caught the breath in his t h r o a t; how long had it been since someone ASKED? He couldn’t REMEMBER. The weight of EVERYTHING was one that he SHOULDERED a l o n e, and one that he THOUGHT he was GLAD to do so. But, the question brought LIGHT to the markings that decorated his skin. 

         “———-Of COURSE I am,” he said simply.                                                 “A King H A S to be.”

          Wren remained still for a beat after his answer as a chill of worry       began to climb up her spine. Then, wordlessly, she shook her head.       “A king has to say they are for their people,” she responded quietly,        taking a half step towards him before continuing,                    “I’m not your people, and I didn’t come back for your people.                    I came back for you.  So please ---- be honest with me.”

“You will? Oh, man --- thank you. I’ll owe you.”

                “——Neither, truthfully. I was a result of NECESSITY and not                              one of T R A G E D Y; though, much has CHANGED. The                              old KING—-my brother—-had been B R A N D E D like                              cattle, marked a TRAITOR and banished from ALBION.”

              “ ...What? Why?” She was reduced to only questions,             though it took a moment of looking him over to find                the one she cared most about.                             “Will ---- are you alright?”                She pronounced the last word slowly, willing it to mean                more than it did on the surface.

“You give a shit about everything all the time.. don’t you think that’s tiring? I mean are you tired right now?” He asks a before almost ignoring her question. “I can’t speak my mind anymore. I was just saying what you knew anyways. You could tell me that being a theif makes me a shit person and I would just agree.”

Wren crossed her arms, letting out another frustrated huff. “So now the problem is that I care?” She snapped, blowing by the question of whether or not she found this all tiring. “I’m so glad you’re okay admitting to being a shit person. It doesn’t give you a free pass to insult me. At least housekeeping is a legal job.”

         {     two night stand was more endearing than I expected & some of the music in sinister literally made me feel sick to my stomach and plot-wise both were fairly predicable. but I would write au/plots based off either of them. (actually just in the sense that I’d be open to a horror plot in reference to sinister because it’s not a super inspiring plot on its own)

     “You’re...?” Both her sentence and smile faltered, Wren caught       off guard by the information. “I’m sorry, it’s just ---             I’m unsure whether to offer you congratulations or condolences.”

         “ ---- You’re going to propose?” It was probably not the reaction that was hoped for.         “You two haven’t been together that long. Are you sure this a good idea?”

            “—-Ah, yes,” he laughed, running his hands along his chin.  “Perhaps it is just more hair, I did not yet have a beard when you last saw me.”

           “Oh, is that what you call it?” She teased good-naturedly.             “I think it might take me some time to get used to it.             I had such a clear memory of what you looked like before.”
