“You know, I’m thinking that this place is nice enough to have a gender neutral bathroom,” Alexis says reaching into her bag. She digging quickly, pulling her bag onto the table to continue you looking. “You can come with me, if you want too,” she places her hand on the table.

someone give me ‘our managers set us up for a duet with me and your band and we hit it off. now they want us to get on tour and i wonder if the fans can tell i’m not faking it when i sing our lyrics during performances and i wonder if they know we sleep in the same tour bus bed and hold hands when no ones looking and how we have to be quiet when we have sex because your band mates are sleeping’ or just give me singer plots tbh
Jason leans back into his seat, his fingers gracing the side of the glass; preparing his next words carefully. “So, you are looking for a job?” he says lamely. He has never been good at this sort of thing, this is way more of his dad expertise, hiring, firing and all that other admin bullshit. Jason scans the person before them trying to think of something way more professional but his mind was blanking. Unsure where this bit of nerves are coming from, he takes a sip from his drink; sitting up straighter. “I’m sorry, I have to say that you might be more prepared for this interview that I am,” he jokes for a moment. “How about you tell me about yourself?”, he concludes, drawing his hands together.
faulty-writes:
Luna kept silent, for a long moment after Mandy’s confession, unsure of what she should address first. The love confession or career confession. Deal, steal, perhaps even murder was involved in Mandy’s life. But part of Luna couldn’t help but feel stupid, why didn’t she look further into Mandy? Find out more, realize truth from fiction. She hadn’t actually seen Mandy in a work uniform, hadn’t really asked about any EMT stories she might have. Was she really that shallow? If she was, why did Mandy like her? It’s not that she rejected the idea, love was love after all. Gender wasn’t a substitute for personality. But damn, did she really want to be associated with someone that sounded like they dealt in crime?
She took a deep breath, “Uh …well I …” She began to speak but once more she didn’t know what to start with. “You’re a criminal then? Or have you ever been arrested? I mean what, what exactly have you done? I …I don’t think you’re a bad person but …” Well actually what more was there left to say? She reached up, rubbing her forehead. “If you …really liked me all this time why didn’t you just, you know …ask me out or something?“ Mandy didn’t seem to be the type to be afraid of anything, well maybe relationships. “I mean it’s a bad time to say that isn’t it?” She concluded as she rested her arm on the counter, fingernails nervously tapping along the surface.
Mandy is pretty stoic girl, silent mostly unless speaking to someone she’s comfortable with. She likes to watch, making quiet observations; but here silence might just kill her. Her eyes were raking over Luna’s face with heart dropping to her stomach in this moment she wishes desperately that she did not even like Luna. She wishes that she had just ate her food, went to her apartment and went to fucking sleep. The change is palatable but even with all of this running through her head, Mandy is still waiting for response. “I’m not a bad person,” She repeats.
She can feels her chest tighten- tighten with the staggering feeling that is Luna's doubts of her are mounting. “No, I don’t kill people. I like,” she purses her lips before tucking her hair behind her ear to explain. “I am a criminal, I guess. I- mostly fake or fradulent money or cards, I mean drugs sometimes,” The woman takes a moment to sigh looking at the other with a shaking head. Luna is not wrong because she could have just asked her out because it would have all ended the same. “Look, I’m not very good with girls who are the real deal. I usually have things with these girls that are quick, but you i mean you are great, I mean you are kind, you are honest, you can read people better than anyone i’ve met and yeah you are also so fucking gorgeous and I guess I wanted to more impressive than the tough girl who’ll pay for dinner. I wanted to be like i don’t know, worth it.”
i will be attempting to do drafts today but will i get some done? hopefully
