âOh wow. Corruption at itâs finest. For good behaviour you get enslaved. Sounds like a bad movie title.â
âYeah itâs not the greatest. If I would have known this was going to happen I would have acted up more.â
Will you cooperate with the leaders or try to resist?
Cooperating makes things way too easy for them. I might if I like them, but donât get your hopes up.Â
charlieagnelli:
âNot me. My mamma.â Charlie, leaning his head on his knees. âShe was kidnapped by traffickers and a few years later had me. Iâve always been owned by traffickers I was just sold off to a different group so I ended up in Italy and I was sold off again and now Iâm here.â He explained with a small shrug.
âJogeumdo, that sounds rough. Iâm sorry.â Though he doubted that saying sorry would make things any better or that the weak apology would even be appreciated. Castor couldnât really imagine having a life like that. And he had thought living in an orphanage was bad.Â
eliaborgia:
âIâm not sure of the exact location of this place either,â she offered with a shrug. âWhat I do know is that I can let you out for a bit if you want to?â
âI thought you would know and tell me,â he sighed with a shake of his head. âWhy would you want to let me out?â
littleredpetrova:
Aurelia shrugged. Â âYou would be surprised. Â Some leaders enjoy a challenge. Â Others will have you suffer for it. Â Mostly it is luck, or intuition, that will allow you to ascertain which is which.â
âI have been known to constantly make things harder for myself, Iâm probably going to suffer for it,â to him, it made the whole thing a lot more fun and he really didnât like changing his way just to please people.Â
addyxvilla:
âI wasnât aware the prison was in on the whole human trafficking situation.â
âWell neither did I, you can imagine how surprised I was.â
abornhustler:
Riley shook her head in mirth. âOkay. You know what, go ahead and do that, Iâll stop by again in a week and see how thatâs working out for you.â
âIâm sure Iâll be doing just fine. Thanks for the concern.â
princessasamimori:
âI would hope not,â she chuckled softly at the review comment, looking up at him with bright eyes. âWould you like to check out the rest of the mansion? It is pretty nice up there.â She offered him.Â
The offer had him raised a brow before he shook his head, leaning back a little more. âThanks but no thanks, why would I want to see how nice it is when the conditions down here are hardly going to change.â
addyxvilla:
âAnd you were transported here from there or what?â she asked, confused as well. âYou know what, forget it. Thatâs your business.â
âTransported from prison to here, thatâs all there is to it really.â
lianaritter:
âYeah?â She frowned, feeling slightly confused as she asked further. âHow come you are here then instead?â
âThey needed more empty cells so they sold some of their well behaved inmates and here we are.â
abornhustler:
âOh my god,â she chuckled. âOh man. Youâre funny. Itâs supposed to be shitty, so you have an incentive to make the leaders like you. Where did you come from?â
âItâs not much of an incentive, Iâm not going to start being nice to them because of a place like this. Rather this than pleasing them,â honestly, who did these people think he was? âNone of your business where I came from.â
charlieagnelli:
âI canât say Iâve seen anyone get into a fight since Iâve been here but I guess youâre right. It could happen.â Charlie shrugged. âI was in a cage in some basement somewhere in Italy.â Charlie answered nonchalantly, not thinking much of it. âIt wasnât all that pleasant really. This place is much better.â
âYou probably get away with a lot more in jail,â he admitted with a small nod of his head. âHow did you end up there? Were you kidnapped or something?â He didnât really want to press too hard for details, but he was just curious about it and the different backgrounds people came from.
littleredpetrova:
âThey care just enough,â she replied with a wry smile.  âWe get meals and baths.  A leader might allow you to keep books in your cell.  I do not think that the guards are actively allowed to harm us.  Without leave anyway.  But it somehow puts a sour taste in your mouth when you realize that the only reason that we get even those small benefits is so that the leaders will find usâŠpalatable, da?â
âIt means nothing if you still act like an asshole so no one will like you,â which would probably be what would happen with him. No one really ended up liking him in the long run and he doubted thee high up individuals would either. Not that it mattered to him.
abornhustler:
This made Riley slap her thigh and laugh. âAre you kidding me?â she asked incredulously. âYouâre a sex slave. They mentioned that part, right?â
âYes I know that,â he huffed quite angrily. âThat doesnât mean they shouldnât have some kind of standards, or do they want their slaves to get ill or something?â
addyxvilla:
âCome from another trafficking system?â She asked, knowing that this was not the only âslave tradeâ there was. Just the most popular, it seem.Â
âUh, no,â he raised a brow. âI come from normal prison and before that a normal orphanage.â
eliaborgia:
âAnd yet it seems like youâre already aware on where you are,â she countered, the same reason why she asked that question. Most of the people down here were confused during their first day but the male wasnât.
âWell it is kind of obvious,â he stated with a shrug of a shoulder, âI donât know exactly where I am, but I know my situation and that is more or less the same thing.â
