I love Eda's epilogue hairstyle so much because the implications of it being braided/tied back like that are clearly that she has someone doing it for her every day.

Spoilers for Thems the Breaks!!

So I went back and rewatched the major Raeda episodes today after the new episode, cuz hyperfixation be like that, and I noticed a parallel I've not seen being discussed much yet. It's when Eda played their song at the BATT's hideout and the maps start withering away to ash, as such:

Loe and behold, it looks EXACTLY like the ashes when Raine dissolved the letter at the end of the newest episode!

Maybe I'm just reaching and overthinking here, but I'm headcanoning that they must have figured out a way to do this because they saw Eda do it first due to her cursed magic. Because it's them, they're a proven wickedly smart badass, and I absolutely have faith in their ability to have heard/seen it happen twice around Eda and quickly figure their own work-around for it. Especially because the animators made a point to show Raine analyzing the dissolving maps after the fact too!

This. This right here I think truly encompasses just how skilled and resourceful they are which lead to them becoming a covenhead. (And proof that if the two stubborn witches would stop pushing eachother away, their combined cleaver craftiness could have Bellos taken out while still making it home in time for dinner)

okay but real quick: the way Raine did their whole 'I'm sick of this' neck and shoulder crack there at the end broke me. The absolute casual power flex feeling of it goes so well with the rest of the episode further reiterated and reminded people that they are a powerful coven head who is constantly being underestimated. The whole episode left me with such happy chills.

I'm processing happy emotional overload by coloring in WIPs and starting new ones cuz manic brain go "brrrt!"

How am I coping with being sick AND impatiently waiting for "Them's the Breaks, Kid" to drop tomorrow? Finally coloring in one of my WIPs of these adorable dorks for one. I for one am excited to watch all my Young-Raeda headcanons get thrown right out the window tonight and not even be mad about it.

Made another Raeda WIP instead of finishing my other one or writing the next chapter to my fanfic, much less any of adulting responsibilities. But hey, there are worse ways to procrastinate.

And yes I know so many of the body proportions are off and there's so many things that need to be touched up on, but damn if it's not the first thing I've drawn in ages that I'm actually kinda proud of 😅
