I wish that we had gotten more ghost Bryan. Like objectively it would’ve been really really cool. Because like he would look terrifying, but he wouldn’t actually be like a monster or anything. He’s just trying to connect to people and is trying to get home. But he’s struggling because he can’t use the body very well and so he’s stuck in this kind of purgatory state outside of it. Plus, I absolutely love the design of where the entire thing is done in red lines. The stuff done by the actual thumbnail artist is so cool and is my personal head canon of how Bryan looks as a ghost

my theory/headcannon for the portal

so i think the portal generates remnant. kind of. so back in season 1 when he first starts going into the portal he is told he will be paid for it. and he is! specifically he is paid by helpy. and Afton comments on this, saying back in his day they send the money directly to the accounts in this line of work. this is what got my brain going and asking, why? why do they need people to go into the portal and they pay them to do so? I don't think its for something like exploration or cataloging differences or changes it has on the human body, if it was Bryan would have been required to keep a journal or to report to fazbear for observation but hes not. and even then, why would they do so in such a volatile environment? why not a lab? instead, my thought is, the portal generates remnant for the company to use. it does this via a human cadaver. see during the series we are told that the better you do in the game the better you get paid. and what happens when you do better in a game? You feel more emotional, for better or worse. my theory is that the portal converts that emotion into remnant. remnant that builds up in the body that gets drained every time someone leaves the portal. This also explains how animatronic can function like possessed ones without having to kill someone to achieve it but the portal has a downside. once it gets a human to start producing remnant, they need to use the portal to remove the buildup. otherwise, they just keep making more and more, and without something to heal it starts to "improve" the unlucky host. maximizing the abilities of the host body. increased strength, streamlining the organs, increasing blood production etc. eventually it finds flaws with everything, twisting the person into something unrecognizable. sound familiar? if this is how it works, it would explain the craving for the portal from Bryan, why he has inhuman super strength, can jump from two stories without so much as putting strain on his ankles, why he can suffer so many injuries and yet never die. i think that the injuries Bryan got from the twisteds gave his remnant somewhere to go. something to heal. keeping it from trying to "fix" the man. like what we see in Dylan. Dylan lost the nerve endings and subsequent pain. he wasn't generating as much as say his brother does but enough that its felt with him being unable to leave the portal and continuing to worsen when he does leave. especially when emotional. just like Bryan.

that's also why they pay so much. I think Bryan generated positive remant which let the company use it to make animatronics (and probably so much more) without worrying about the downsides remnant made from misery or anger makes. could also explain why certain animatronics act the way they do. maybe Bryan was spilling remnant slowly into the glamrocks (and Steve!) but that's just my headcanons, let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions in the comments and reblogs!

Bryan has the wings of a many colored fruit dove

Bryan coos like doves/Pigeons

Bryan is aggressively defensive of pigeons. The first time inpu insulted a pigeon in front of Bryan he then got an almost 2 hour lecture about what pigeons are and how doves are the same damn species just different names as well as Bryan aggressively gesturing to his own wings. Explain explaining that Inpu had indirectly insulted him, and he was puffy about it.

Inpu found the info dump, extremely attractive.

Bryan isn’t unintelligent the way people assume. Fun fact he actually knows a decent amount about the other pantheons, including names for the gods. (Apep is another name for apophis the snake and I hate that they didn’t give him his due credit) we know that he’s a really good reader, as seen by the fact that well he may not be on inpus level he most certainly can read quite a bit, see his home office or the episodes at the library of Alexandria. I just think Bryan is super intelligent about his passions. Which include things like plants, romance, love, he’s really into animal husbandry, etc.

Inpu loved to listen to Bryan rant about what he loved for hours. It was one of the few times Brian could genuinely show how intelligent he was.

The reason why Xylo had issues with the brypu children wasn’t because he had issues with Bryan, but rather he had issues with Bri and they

look a lot like Bryan side of the family.

Xylo had the biggest issues with Atlas because Atlas looked like Austin.

I feel like Bryan has Apollo lineage in him.

Aphrodite kids have the ability to shape shift. Depending on the kid, it can be major changes or minor. However, all of them are stuck with the transformation for at least a week.

Bryan never forgets AU

so I’ve seen a few AUS where Bryan doesn’t forget/ season three through five goes differently. And I wanted to share mine. So in this AU, Bryan doesn’t lose his memories. His parents do discuss it, but amiri says that is such a bad idea and in Bryan’s case could cause long-term memory issues. Bryan does overhear this. And it does permanently ruin his relationship with Anna.

Because he never lost his memories, he actually kept his ability to remember intact and he never experienced hallucinations. At around 16 he starts planning to get away from that house during and after college

He does try and keep in contact with Dylan however Anna explicitly banned this. Saying that she wanted him to focus on his studies and being top of his classes. He did try a couple of times, but it never really went anywhere.

At 16 he decides to get a part-time at his local daycare. The very same one that has the portal in their basement. He tells his parents that it’s for volunteer hours. It’s not.

This is also when he gets re-exposed to the portal again as a teenager.(16) He hopped through the portal a lot as a teenager and up until he purchased the original location. (so from 16 to 22) The time dilation meant he could be in other dimensions for hours and mere minutes be passing back home. During this, he actually went to a server where he agreed to fight and perform for hypixel. In doing so he was given a stipend of gold and iron. More money that he could put away. (He was about 17)

in my au the way hypixel works is similar to a gladiator arena. People sign contracts with different companies and/or inter dimensional beings and they will act as their patron. Pushing for their inclusion in events and advertising. Contracts can be renewed and changed every year as well as traded to other companies or people. Sometimes the performer gets a say and sometimes they don’t. It’s something that would be discussed and placed into the fighters contract. It is during one of his matches he meets otso. (Otso sponsored Bryan when Bryan was about 20 but didn’t get to know him until he was 21) otso originally assumed Bryan was just dumb and pretty. Entertaining to sponsor but didn’t really take the time to know him until a couple months in. That’s when he learned Bryan was actually more than a pretty face. He has passion and goals. Even confiding in otso that he wanted to pursue a career in animatronics and children’s entertainment. He’s always been good with kids, and he had a lot of family in that kind of career. This is also when otso learns Bryan is raising a teenager.

Bryan’s mother Anna realized that bryan could get a law degree if he did dual enrollment that his school offered. Originally Bryan didn’t wanna do so. He was already in advanced classes and didn’t have much free time at all, But Anna insisted and said that if he couldn’t do both the dual enrollment and the daycare program, she would take him out of the daycare program and he would no longer be able to work there. Bryan didn’t want to be separated from the portal again so he agreed. Around that time he learned that Fazbear has a program that will accept Law students, and then they can build up their career in the company that way. So by the time he was graduating, Bryan was graduating with AA in law. He immediately went to college cut off all contact with his family and signed up to go through another AA this time in mechanics and engineering. This is also when he started working for and interacting with Fazbear. Fazbear offered that in exchange for Bryan working for them they would pay for his college.

Bryan was working in the paralegal team for Fazbear for the the next four years.

When Bryan turned 18, he also got back into contact with Dylan‘s foster family. They gave Bryan an ultimatum. If he wanted to interact with Dylan, he would need to adopt Dylan. Bryan said that he would. So the foster family dumped Dylan on Bryan. Bryan made sure that it was legal and that they had legally signed away their rights and that he was officially Dylan‘s caretaker. Was this originally Bryan’s plan? No.

Was he going to take advantage of it? Yes.

Mind you, Dylan was only 12 at the time. By the time everything was finalized, he was about 13 years old. The first four years were rough (he was 18 and raising a 12 year old)

Lots of Ramen, PB&J’s, working through the school system all while working two jobs. Technically three if you count the fact that he was still doing Hypixel work. But doing these three jobs meant that Bryan was actually able to afford a really nice apartment. As well as having free childcare during the day and be able to afford any hobby Dylan wanted to pursue. (Plus therapy) Two years into taking care of Dylan he met Davis. (Bryan would be 20 and Dylan 14) Davis agreed to start working at Fazbear as a security guard in exchange for them paying for his college. (He’s 23) he had originally been unable to afford college after high school and he had to take care of his ailing grandmother Betty so it was only when everything got stable again was he able to think about college again. He ended up meeting with Bryan to discuss his contract and Bryan looked at the very obviously blind man as he had no eyes was like

hey the security job position is a pain in the ass if you get Night Shift, however I do know this place that currently has stuff open for the day and if they ever try to get you on Night Shift, here’s my number call me and I’ll make sure that you go to a different location that has a dayshift open. I don’t want you on Night Shift because you’ll likely die bc you won’t be able to watch the computers.

thus their unlikely friendship was born.

They bonded really well and he even trusts Davis to watch over Dylan if he needs. Dylan grew up calling Davis uncle Davis. It’s shortly after Davis became a staple in their lives that when bryan is about 21 when he re meets ersa. eras and him knew each other during college bc they shared a class and got paired up to work together for the semester. But they drifted apart after.

Bryan got assigned ersa’s situation. When Bryan went into the fazbear frights location he meets Afton. Bryan felt awful for Ersa and awful that he didn’t try to keep contact. He was quick to help in any way he could. When bryan realized the barrier was tied to the portal he asked Afton if he was allowed to bring in otso. They agree and Bryan tells otso about the situation. It is then that otso explains that he could free everyone but! They need a sacrificial lamb to stay behind and die in the portal collapse. Ersa said she would but Bryan had a wonderful idea.

what if they found the guy who had put them both there in the first place. (The afton we see in Bryan’s og series)

this is when they plan of Bryan’s first restaurant comes into fruition. They will use his location as a lure and Bryan the bait. Bryan’s job is to keep the evil Afton in the dark about their plans and for that he has to play very. Very. Dumb. So season one does go pretty similar. Very minimal changes. Bryan is pretty determined to keep Dylan out of Fazbear until he’s an adult. The main difference is the way the season one finale ends

While Bryan did survive the jaw like puzzles. He was scary. He was genuinely angry and suddenly he wasn’t as stupid as he appeared for most of season one. Everything came to head at the end when Bryan actually beat Afton. He shot him not anywhere where he would die immediately but enough to get him down. Bryan then proceeded to beat the ever loving shit out of the human form of Afton. To the point, Freddy didn’t need to step in. it is only after Bryan has made sure that Afton can’t move anymore that he reveals the plan was always to get afton. That Bryan had been bait. So the season, one finale actually ends with Ersa and the real afton being freed.

Fnaf kids AU/headcannon

so fnaf kids. Bryan dies. Canonically I think they said he was about 9 years old which is the cannon age difference between Dylan and Bryan! So my idea is that Dylan never got to actually meet that Bryan. Other than Bryan maybe holding him as a baby

eventually he starts up candies again. (This is based on Dylan’s reboot) and around when they drag Matthew back to the pizzeria that Bryan became relevant again. In a bid to get through to Matthew Vinnie uses Bryan’s name and it *does* if only for a moment. But Dylan is confused, who is Bryan and why was he important enough that when his name was used his dad calmed down?

Vinnie doesn’t want to talk about Bryan. It’s a sore spot for him and the old cast. Dylan gets upset and him and Vincent get into an argument. Leading to Vinnie spending time in the closet again.

he surprisingly learns more about Bryan from Markus in the rat suit.

after Dylan storms out he sarcastically asks Markus if he knows anything about Bryan and Markus draws out a very odd scene. a brown haired kid in front of a Freddy fazebears location.

this peaks Dylan’s interest and he goes down a rabbit hole. Finding out slowly who Bryan was and what happened to him.

Tidal locked au headcannons earth and Bryan!

(if you haven’t checked out the first post yet just look up tidal locked AU into the search bar on my profile)

The ends of Bryan’s hair are dyed a deep grey. This was done by the original bodies owner, but Bryan has kept up with it because he enjoys how it looks.

Bryan can’t talk. He’s mute and he doesn’t quite know why. It took him a bit to learn sign language but his constant use of it makes learning it easier.

All of the animatronics have a translator that lets them understand what Bryan is saying however it translates in their head meaning they ‘hear’ him speak and don’t realize others can’t hear him.

Bryan feels more heard in LAES than he ever did back home. This is because dispite him not being able to talk with his voice, the animatronics listen when he speaks and don’t just laugh and point when something goes wrong with him. They actually take a second and help him stay calm. Plus if they hit him he’s allowed to hit back. Which is a nice change for Bryan.

Earth was very confused as to why Bryan had shown back up until he explained and then she felt obligated to help him because lunar did ruin his life by stripping away his access to his money, home, healthcare, and car. She originally assumed Bryan was going to freeload but not only was he surprisingly agreeable, he was also a genuine help after hours.

Bryan and earths relationship continued to improve because he proved to be a helpful companion.

Bryan gets help from earth to re-do the grey ends of his hair

Earth doesn’t regret lunar tearing up Bryan’s life. (This will have its own explanation bc it ties into the lunar and earth show lore)

So this AU is based on the lunar and earth show. I don’t know if you know it or not. (Who knows how much overlap of these fandoms there is but if you like this maybe the overlap can grow!) It’s a branch of show to the sun and moon show. It’s not necessarily important if you want to go watch the episodes that I’m inspired by you’re more than welcome to. I will go ahead and put them at the end of this AU explanation.

So the way this au works is Bryan dies. Bryan dies when pig patch drops an anvil on his head. (this is inspired by Nikolas over on TikTok.) he’s so more or less detached from his body and ended up attaching to a different body in a new dimension. A very familiar dimension if you know it. The lunar and earth show. This is inspired by the YN self insert episodes. I find them fun, but I think it’s even funner if it’s Bryan going through it. So Bryan wakes up in the new dimension. The first thing he notices, he is not at the pizzeria. He is in an apartment. This apartment looks similar to the one back home, but everything is just wrong. Not by a lot. But enough. Eventually, he gets up out of the bed and he goes over the mirror to check out what he looks like and lo and behold. He looks like himself, but also wrong. His hair is longer. (Think coming down to his shoulders and having deep grey dyed ends) And his eyes were one of his eyes is the wrong color. It’s bright blue. (representative of the original Bryan that he replaced.) he has a little bit of panic about it. I mean, he’s in a completely new dimension completely knew everything. This is also when he learns he cannot talk. Something is preventing him from speaking. he tries to rationalize and reason and explain. The assumption his brain comes up to is this is all dream. Obviously he is dreaming he was hit on the head with an anvil obviously, he’s gonna be knocked out so he’s dreaming. It explains the way all of the issues. It is after he is convinced himself he’s dreaming that a notification pops up on the phone on the nightstand. Some part of his brain says that’s his phone. He ignores that part of his brain. But he does pick it up to see what the notification is. The notification tells him hey don’t forget you have first day of work at daycare lane. Bryan does not know what that is so he quickly doesn’t Google search. Learning that it’s full of animatronics. He goes. Oh yes, this is my subconscious way of incorporating my friends. He decides to go to the location. This is when he meets earth and lunar and Mars and some of the other others. None of these animatronics look like his animatronics. So he starts to get a little worried. over the course of his tour he starts to realize

There’s no portal

There’s nothing familiar. At best there is echoes of an echo of familiarity.

And he can feel everything

He only really realizes something is horribly wrong when he is standing outside of daycare lane, holding the piece of paper earth gave him. Telling him to call someone higher up and contest the fact that he was fired on his first day simply because it turns out the company didn’t actually wanna hire more workers. it is at this point that he goes oh shit. I am actually in a completely different dimension.

another mental breakdown

Because Bryan is left questioning reality. Was the entire pizzeria a dream? Did he hallucinate it? I mean, there was a straight up portal to a different dimension. But he felt pain in there. So is this the dream? But if he used pain as an explanation for why it’s not a dream. Then this also couldn’t be a dream. He also had no memory of leaving a portal. So argo he couldn’t have come through a portal. Brian then just kind of vibes in the new dimension. He has a really bad time

Eventually, he ends up getting a new job and slowly things start to look better.

It took weeks but eventually. He came to accept that this is his real reality. He learned that this version of him had a brother. (because remember this is during season one before he learned that he has a brother himself.) and that his choice to try and end up in daycare lane was apparently a way to spite his stepmom. About a month in a notification popped up on his phone, a dating app notification. He starts texting them. And they decide to go on a blind date.

The blind date ends up being lunar. Bryan’s almost colleague. Needless to say the date goes a little awkward. Bryan and him got chilis but they never get food. Then they decided to go to a movie theater and they’re only playing something they don’t wanna watch. Then lunar walks Bryan home but he walks him home to the wrong address. Lunar and tells Bryan to go knock on the door of this person’s house to ask for help because he’s not helping him. And walks away. Bryan deleted the dating app off his phone. When he goes up to the door of the place, it turns out it’s the same person that has been at the locations. Bryan had been on a date at. They threatened to call the cops on Bryan and Bryan. Can’t really explain anything because again he can’t talk. He can use sign language that he had slowly been learning. But he can’t talk to explain himself. So he runs off. Awful day.

And it only got worse when he realized he doesn’t have his keys or his wallet.

Bryan then has a little panic. It took a while, and it took a bit of humbling and asking. But he finally got access to the Chili’s camera to see what happened to his wallet because the last place he could confirm he had it was the chilies. He gets to see lunar stealing his wallet and keys in 4K. He’s pissed.

He ends up having to walk his ass to the daycare lane.

The animatronics are very shocked to see him there because they heard he was fired

Bryan then explains with his basic sign language that he’s looking for lunar

The animatronics point in the right direction

Earth is very confused, but says that Mars probably saw him last

He goes up to Mars in the security room and is like ‘ have you seen lunar’

It is at this moment, lunar walks in

Mars reading Bryan’s hands learn that lunar has stolen his wallet

The other animatronics come up to see what all the hubbub is about. Blocking lunar from leaving.

It is then that Bryan learns lunar had cut up his credit cards. His ID. His drivers license. And his Social Security card. As well as having bent both his keys and throwing everything out.

Earth is mortified

Offering to let them stay in the pizzeria

And helping them replace all the cards and things that they had lost

And this is how Bryan joins the cast of the lunar and earth show!

Quick explanation

Originally, I was doing a lot of aus in a fanfiction called treasure trove of one shots

Darkside by SkyDxddy fits bryan and molten very well. “I used to be so happy, where’d that person go, now every time I look in the mirror it’s some one I don’t know,

I hate myself, I’m not the same, that light in me is gone. I’m crying every single day but I’m trying to be strong”

This first bit sounds just like s1-2 Bryan. He used to be very happy and energetic but over time he lost that spark. We even see during season one Bryan crying and sobbing but trying to remain strong and stick with his location. then we get the next verse in a different tone

“Your a whiny little b**** your pity parties aren’t that fun, you’ve been crying for a while now are you almost done?”

major season 1 molten vibes. Gives off that same angry attitude about Bryan, molten was always very done with Bryan at all times.

“You say you hate yourself, and yet, look at that, you're here You've gotten up out of bed for the last five years”

this is where it transitions from season one Bryan and molten dynamic to season two Bryan Molten dynamic.

“Don't you want your power back? Don't you want revenge? You can't prove that fucker wrong if you beat yourself down again”

this feels like a reference to both Afton and glitch trap as well as the fact that Bryan put himself down a lot, especially during season two.

“I say this as a friend, I say 'cause I know who you are I've been here from the beginning, but I've been waiting in the dark”

again, season two vibes. And molten has been there since the beginning and has been protecting Bryan from the portal since the beginning. But he has been doing so in the dark.

Thinking about how Quincy used to describe Player as from the boonies and the implications of that shit,

Like it's no longer canon technically since it got rewritten --- but it's interesting since it showed how wish would describe Player through how characters describe them.

While Player is from a remote town --- they are on some DEMON time when it comes to other characters' perspective.

Like for most battles, no matter your skill level, you know the basic rules of battling that often correlate with each other.

Do big damage to knock out the opponent.

Use super effective moves to deal big damage.

And if you're decent, you switch out to doodles that match up best to the opposing doodle. What's so surprising about this?

That shit is foreign to doodle battling for npcs.

They don't switch to the doodle another to best the opponent, they don't even switch unless they have a switching move. In fact, most tamers don't carry that much coverage or even full move sets. And if you look at it, from other tamer's perspective,

They got a counter to basically anything they send out.

Player constantly hitting that 'It's super effective!' on everybody is another level of disrespect, because most tamers in the story be thinking,

"Maybe I should keep spamming this strong move against em"
