Midnight (Part 4)
Summary: (Y/N) is a woman that is in an unhappy marriage, one day she visits a dive bar after work and meets Daryl Dixon.
Words: 2,326
Warnings: Swearing, fluff, angst(?), smut
Smut Warnings: Unprotected sex (PLEASE COVER YA DICKS), Dirty talk, slight dom/sub
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x Reader, Mentioned Shane Walsh x Reader
(Part 1), (Part 2), (Part 3)
Four days, four whole days since you had escaped from that restaurant. Four days of traveling on a bike, four days of different cheap motels. You were sure that Shane was freaking out and sending the whole squad after you. After all, you were technically a missing person. You had cut your hair and dyed it jet black. You didn’t want to be found.
Of course, Shane Walsh wouldn’t be thinking that way. He would be thinking that you were kidnapped by two backwoods, trailer trash, hicks. You had come to this life on your own choice, you had begun digging your own grave without a single worry.
You sat on the edge of the crappy motel bed, inspecting the wedding band and engagement ring on your finger. Their glow seemed dulled since you had left the man you married. Initially, you felt no guilt over the choice you made, but now it was beginning to sink in. You had left that poor man with nothing and no warning.
No, you needed to stop thinking like that. Your happiness mattered too and you were not happy with Shane Walsh. (Y/N) Walsh. That’s a name that you wouldn’t be called again. Now you were back to just being (Y/N) (L/Y/N). Even with your new change in identity, you couldn’t bring yourself to take off the rings just yet. It felt like they were embedded in your skin after so many years of wearing them.
You stood up from the bed and walked to the bathroom, looking at yourself in the dirty mirror. Daryl and Merle were out getting some food for the three of you since you were kind of on the run at the moment. You jumped a little when the door to the room opened. Your jumpiness was somewhat soothed when you heard Daryl and Merle bickering amongst themselves.
You stepped out of the bathroom, Daryl turning to you, “Hey, doll.” He said, his voice just as gruff as it always was. Merle set a Taco Bell bag on the table, “We got the beaner food you asked for!” He shouted out, you grimaced at the racism in his statement. You didn’t understand how Daryl was related to his brother.
You cleared your throat as you dug through the bag until you found your burrito, “Thank you.” You said, Daryl just nodding as Merle began gobbling down his tacos. Daryl’s head quirked to the side as he watched you. He wasn’t the smartest person, but he wasn’t dumb. He could tell that something was up with you, “You okay, Doll?” He asked with a frown on his face, “Yeah, I’m fine. Just a rough transition.”
“Sugartits is missin’ her man.”

The Winter Lover (Bucky Barnes)
Summary: You and your newly married husband are granted a peaceful honeymoon to a ski cabin
Words: 1,567
Warnings: None really, just fluff (If that can be considered a warning)
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
You and your new husband had a beautiful wedding. It was broadcast like the royal weddings, which admittedly made you feel a bit like a princess. You were the wife of an Avenger now. It. Was. Crazy.
Your relationship with The Winter Soldier was far from being perfect, but it was perfect right now. Bucky wasn’t having any PTSD relapses, you were so in love, happy, and you were staying with your beautiful husband at a ski cabin.
You had started out as a public relations worker, managing the image of The Avengers crew. There was some idiot kid wanting to do an indie documentary about them and you agreed to help with the interviews. That was where you met the man that would become your future husband.
At first, you were a little intimidated by him. He was very large, tall, and the metal arm made you feel intimidated. During the rare quiet moments of the interview, you swore that you could hear the gears of his arm clicking and whirring.
His beautiful blue eyes always seemed to be burning into your soul, but you knew that he was just trying to be a good listener. Even with all of his striking physical aspects, his meekness was the biggest thing that popped out at you. Most of the Avengers were outgoing and took up space in a room, but James Barnes was different. He had a presence, but it was nuanced and gentle compared to people like Tony Stark.
Your relationship wasn’t really a relationship for a long time. Both of you had been out of the dating game for a considerable amount of time. Well, he had been out of it for many more years than you had. Eventually, he asked you out on a date. The two of you went to central park and it was definitely unique. People kept stopping the two of you to look at his metal hand that peeked out of his jacket sleeve or to take a picture of him.
With all the constant barraging from fans and some paparazzi, the date was a success and the rest was history. The two of you quickly became the power couple of the Avengers. Now the rest was history.
