Are u still working on cataclysmalbound or is that over
i mean at this pooooint yeaaaaah. im really sorry if thats disappointing to anyone. i know alot of people enjoyed cataclysmalbound and the characters (i did too believe me), but i think its for the best to lay it to rest and take what i enjoyed/learned so that i can make it into something better. there were a lot of issues with my own writing and production (the plot was still unfinished despite me making headway into act 1 + extremely inconsistent updating + trying to push through entering the game and shit was just a fucking nuisance), not only that but with cataclysmalbound not being able to stand on its own as an original webcomic i feel like that would only inhibit me in the long run since the more i developed the plot the bigger the ideas were that i wanted to tackle, ideas that just wouldnt fit into that kind of universe. plus it just made me feel kind of awful knowing something i was putting so much time into was just going to be seen as yet another homestuck knockoff when homestuck has soooo many bad elements to it. like ive said it before in a post but i feel like i just have a lot more potential beyond a homestuck fanventure and i hope the people who have enjoyed my work so far agree with that.
however youll definitely be seeing the characters–or at least similar characters–soon! im already taking those bigger ideas and taking things i liked about the characters from before and im working on rehashing that all into something new. so far what i have are some character designs and a plot about interdimensional travel with coding being the fabric of the universe and what would happen if editing that could edit reality itself (an idea that i was originally going to be exploring in cataclysmalbound with the game) and technology and magic and other fun shit. if you want to keep up with my work just keep an eye out from now on! ^___^
