Despite the fact that Dreasâ had spent most of his life now in human form, he still felt as though he was an imposter in his own skin. What he wouldnât give to be able to shift freely and quite literally spread his wings again, but he was ruled by the fear of what would happen if he did.Â
There were certain things he did enjoy in his mortal body, however and being able to drink in a bar was one of those things.
As he entered big auggies bayou bar though, he did with a sigh as it was barely the evening and a fight had already broken out. With stools being smashed against tables and punches being thrown, Dreas still intended to get to that drink.
âMensoâsâ he groaned beneath his breath, narrowly ducking and weaving between bodies as more people piled into the fight âyo, can I get a beerâ he called out over the noise, unintentionally stepping onto somebody in the process âand whatever theyâre drinking as an apologyâ he murmured, gesturing towards the owner of the foot he had stepped onto.
The chaos that ensued around her was hardly noticed by the huntress as she sat at the bar, digits swirling around the rim of her glass of whiskey, other hand lifting cherries to her lips, plucking the fruit from itâs stem with her teeth as the male approached the bar, dark hues glancing down at the man whoâs foot he had stepped on before allowing her gaze to fall on the dragon. âHombres idiotas,â Catalina mused, an amused smile tugging to her lips. âDonât know that he needs another drink,â Gaze shot over her shoulder at the stumbling drunk once more, soft laughter leaving her lips. âI give him about 3 seconds before he stumbles and passes out from the amount of liquor in his system.â
