Maximilian (Max) Crimson. A character part of a personal project about a secret agency called "The Catastrophe Consortium". Inspired by the song "Våre Demoner" (Our demons!) by Kaizers Orchestra.

He's a quiet, scholarly person who enjoys literature and writing - and can communicate with the dead. He initially works as an undertaker, and to earn a better living to raise his daughter, Violet (who has inherited his psychic abilities), he sets up a psychic business, which, much to his surprise, turns out to be a success. Some people think of him as a con artist, though. He operates as a consultant of the Catastrophe Consortium (when they're dealing with strange supernatural matters).

She's a laid-back, witty photographer who might seem a bit jaded and come across as blunt, but has a great sense of (somewhat dry and gloomy) humour and a flair for the dramatic. She dabbles in chemistry, has lost the sight of her left eye in an unfortunate incident, and therefore wears an eye patch.

He's a quick-witted person with great room-reading skills, a spirited happy-go-lucky personality. He's a beekeeper by trade, but has worked in numerous fields - for example as an undercover agent. He always wears his yellow raincoat.

She's a laid-back, somewhat snarky photographer who dabbles in chemistry, a self-proclaimed "starving pharmacist”, who hides bills under vases and shoots passport pictures to escape a financial trap.
