GO2 broke my brain because finally, for once, the ship was made canon. The kiss was on our screens. I never dared hope it, not through all of S1 and S2 when it was so obvious, because even still I thought the chances of a kiss were slim to none.

I never considered that S3 wouldn't have a kiss. In my prediction game it literally wasn't an option. I'm trying to think of any reason at all that isn't homophobic in nature for why they took another kiss away from us and coming up short. In a hetero-appearing couple, there would have been a kiss *at minimum*. We wouldn't have to live with "implied" or "go read fanfic if you want that".

So I'm grieving. After S2 I didn't see it coming that they would do that to us. Leave us to our imagination. Not heal the wound of that sad, broken kiss in the final fifteen. But here we are.
