Kira Kira Crate Review
Hello~ Japan Crate sent me this Kira Kira Crate to try for the month of October. Kira Kira Crate is a subscription box for beauty products from Japan. It costs $29 a month and comes directly from Japan with free shipping. Though this box was sent to me for free, that will not affect the honesty of my review.
Box Contents:
Booklet
It comes with a little booklet that tells you what's in the box as well as a little bit about them and how to use them. This is helpful since not all of the products have English directions on them.
_
Pure Smile Yokai Face Mask
I'm addicted to sheet masks and they've saved me from many terrible breakouts, so I was the most excited about this product. I've never tried any with a design on them, mostly because.. it's a bit creepy. But what they look like really doesn't matter(another reason why I've never tried them lol), so I went ahead and tried it out. The package had a lot of essence in it, which is always a plus. My face did feel really moisturized after using it. I would probably not buy one of these since there are so many sheet masks to try, and some that I already love, but I would use it again if one were given to me. Also, I locked myself in the bathroom while using this to avoid creeping anyone out lol.
Yuzu Skin Lotion
First of all, Yuzu is a citrus fruit similar to lemons. It is said to have many skin benefits. Even though this is called a lotion, it has a watery consistency. I like that since it absorbs into the skin easily without feeling greasy. The only problem is that it's in a pump bottle, so getting the product out is a bit messy. It says you can use it on your face and body, but I have not tried it on my face because I can't read the ingredients and I can't find any info on the product online. I have been using it on my body and it leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated! I don't know how well it would work if your skin was super dry, but it's awesome as a light moisturizer. The scent is also very light which I like. I will continue using it on my body.
2-in-1 Mascara and Eyeliner: Purple Glitter
I've never seen a 2-in-1 for mascara and eyeliner before, so I was a little confused before I opened it up. I wore it on Halloween and it ended up being really cute as eyeliner. It's easy to apply and shows up very well. I also used a little bit as mascara but it wasn't as noticeable, nor do I think it makes a very good mascara. It stays on really well but it's a little uncomfortable when you take it off. Kind of reminds me of glue in that sense. I was worried some of my eyelashes would come out when I took it off, but thankfully they didn't.
Face Paint: Green and Yellow
I don't really have any use for this product, nor anything great to say about it. I will say that the yellow side is a lot better than the green side. The green side felt kind of greasy when I swatched it on my hand, and the coverage was kind of blotchy. The yellow had a better texture and coverage and seemed to stay on pretty well too. The booklet suggests using it as eyeshadow or lipstick, which I have no desire to do. I don't doubt that there's someone who would like this more than I do, but I just can't recommend it.
Little Cat Bubble Bath & Body Wash
There's not really much to say about it. It's pretty cute and smells nice. It smells like oranges but the smell isn't too artificial smelling so it's nice.
Eyebrow Shaver with Mirror
Also not much to say about this, it's pretty straight forward. It works just as any eyebrow shaver would. It's nice how it has a mirror for the cover so that it's easy to use on the go.
Overall:
You can probably tell by the products and the fact that it was the box for October, that this is Halloween themed. I think that kind of made it a miss for me, since things like face paint aren't really my thing (especially in green/yellow). It's shame because the September box had a lot of cute items I would use in it, but that's just how it is with subscription boxes. There will always be some you like more than others. However, I did end up liking a lot of the products and will continue using them.
Would I recommend Kira Kira Crate?
If you want to try out new beauty products and don't really know where to start - absolutely! It's a fun way to try out all sorts of new things that you wouldn't have otherwise.
If you have specific skin needs/already know what products you like - unfortunately probably not. It's still a fun way to try out new things, but I think it's better to focus on buying products that you know you love, especially if you have a tight budget. The value of the crate is good for what you get, but it doesn't mean much if you don't use half of the products.
Japan Crate has many different crates available. They have one for Japanese snacks, cute Japanese collectables, and (my favorite) Japanese ramen and other kinds of instant noodles~ They all look great and are worth looking into if you like those kinds of things!
In Toronto? Also do you attend any conventions / expos?
I live within Ontario and I usually only go to Anime North
Have got anything planned for Halloween as in, are we going to see a scary movie cosplay or like a scary nerdy comic cosplay and if you was going to what would you do?
I'll probably just hang out with my friends lmao I don't really have anything planned yet ;x

My Instagram has been disabled.
Hello. It's me. Nekobunn. You may or may not have noticed but my Instagram account is suddenly gone. I did not do this, Instagram shut it down.
I don't actually believe I've ever violated their terms, and I'm guessing it's just from people reporting me. But I really have no idea. I don't know what's going on. For now, I've made a new account under the username neko.bunn
You can follow me there for updates or whatever. Idk if anyone will see this but I just wanted to make sure everyone knows.. somehow. ;;
Can you be even cuter ? Is that even possible?
Aw thank you :x
Can you send all the links from ebay for the lashes you have in your instagram pictures please?
Yep! It's just these. These are the only ones I use. http://www.ebay.com/itm/391829361254
Do you like your pizza.. Boneless?
Boneless,, bone-in,, all pizza is goood
I do not speak of having or not shame, I speak of having respect for the cosplay.
Cosplay is just a hobby. You can do it however you want. There are no rules.
why do you show your body?
Because I like my body and there's no reason why women should be shamed for showing their body just as men are not shamed for posting topless photos. 🤷
you are a prostitute?
Absolutely not.
Do you send your prints to Mexico? How much I have to pay for the shipping? :o
I do! Shipping is free worldwide :)
