Yes, that island was like a walk in the park. And yet, he was starting to miss his life over there. “ I take it you don’t want to go back ? “

“ And there, I thought you would know by now that probabilities were always against us. “ Dick commented as he thought about the wierd morning that occured. He truly thought that being on this island all of a sudden would be the strangest thing to happen.... Little did he know it was only the start of his worries. When he woke up that morning to some of his belongings missing ( and then learned that he wasn’t the only one in this position ), the boy wonder knew that something was really wrong with this island. “ Not really important, no. Just a few pictures, gadgets... Oh and I’m pretty sure my toothbrush was misplaced but that’s an other story. “

&&. before i go to bed, i wanted to clarify some things about dick’s sotry considering i could base him off of many comics with different plotlines. in the end, i picked a few things from pre-52, new-52 and rebirth and kind of... mix it together ?? when it comes to relationships, i decided to stay vague for now since i’m not sure what the others are doing when it comes to canon established plot and i’m not one to overstep. this is basically his life before ending up here, the rest isn’t decided as of yet for plot purposes and what not. toodles !! ( basic summary under the cut. )

DICK GRAYSON grew up in a circus in a family of acrobats that would become known as the flying grayson. One night, as they were doing their routine, his parents died ( murdered ? or accident ? ) which led him to become an orphan. He was saved by Batman whose alter-ego Bruce Wayne was present during the show, when corrupted police officers threw him in their car. At first, Dick didn’t like the man and didn’t want anything to do with him. He was rude. And far from being a good candidat for parenting, and yet... He ended up living at the Wayne Manor.

He was still a child when he became Robin, Batman’s first sidekick. He was good at what he was doing, helping the dark knight to the best of his abilities. They were inseparable. Wherever Batman was, Dick wasn’t too far away. And vice-versa. As years passed, Robin was given a team of his own. Then TEEN TITANS. He stayed with them for a long while. As he reached a certain age, his view on things started to change and thoughts of freedom and independance started flooding his mind. He didn’t want to be just a sidekick anymore ( plus, the fact that Batman fired him after an other mission gone wrong wasn’t helping ) and... He became someone else. NIGHTWING. Leaving Gotham under Batman’s protection, he moved to Blüdhaven while also landing an helping hand whenever he was needed.

When Bruce disappeared ( with some thinking that he died ), Dick took it upon himself to take on the mantle of the Batman until his father figure return. At some point in time, Dick faked his own death under Wayne’s command to protect his own life and went away... Taking on an other identity. AGENT SPYRAL. He stayed with them until all that needed to be done was settled... And then he came back, taking back the costume he left behind. ( Sure, he had loads of explaining to do and had to promise not to fake his own death again. )

He was part of the titans when one night he fell asleep, only to wake up in a whole new place. Confused, Dick first thought was about how many drinks he had the night before... Only to decided that this couldn’t be a direct consequence of an hungover. Something happened, and he wouldn’t stand by and do nothing to get back home.

i will try to escape. bludhaven cannot stay unprotected for too long, and i doubt that someone else will do the job for me.

not much is really the matter. my parents died when i was pretty... young. i grew up with bruce wayne. let’s just say i didn’t have the most simple life but i’m glad. i wouldn’t trade it for the world.
