Tricia Cline, You make me all kinds of happy.
My recording for sound task 2
In studio sound recording.

Contemporary art can be defined variously as art produced at this present point in time or art produced since World War II. The definition of the word contemporary would support the first view, but museums of contemporary art commonly define their collections as consisting of art produced since World War II.
Filming with tripod in sunroom corner. Painting self, literally.

Unreal! I love the movement in this video.
This video reminds me of 'Coraline'. I love the sound which for me is more important then the visual aspect. It is story telling - but not straight forward. The voice over is always joined with a sort of bubbling sound which indicates this may be an inner monologue or something secret.
I was interested in hearing Yoko Ono's work... Partly because she destroyed the Beatles... We all know what she looks like (that was a broad assumption...) I wanted to know what she sounded like. This is a strange sound piece, I do not necessarily like it - it could however be the setting. A piece like this in my opinion would work in a dark setting, a creepy installation in a gallery with lights moving in strange ways. I do not understand so I keep looking.
Male orientated society - minimising the female. Conversation between a man and woman juxtaposed between sharp cuts of "PASSION" and news reports. I like the way its chopped throughout - not layered.
Spanish artist Juan Francisco Casas uses a single biro pen to sketch these amazing pieces of art.
This style of portraiture seems to capture something very real, moments more then portraits.
Snaps of life. I feel this can be related to my habit of drawing what I see, and my photography style of 'moments' not 'pictures.

Libera Musa by Adara Sánchez Anguiano
I am in love with this artist! The syle and rendering... The line work and shapes are sharp but soft.
The colours in her work echo my own, her lines are just captivating.
