Dwarves!!!
So, I have been a huge fan of fantasy dwarves, or dwarfs for you Tolkien fans, since I picked up the hobbit in the third grade. This love only grew as I continued into the Lord of the rings series and, yes even the dreaded silmarillion. I devoured Tolkien literature and everything I could about dwarves. This burning passion eventually dwindled into a deep smolder in the back of my head. Then I discovered dragon age: origins and the fire was flamed back to blazing life. My first completed play through was Golm Aeducan and I relished the opportunity to explore this rich new lore with an original character. I played through origins and awakening three different times with three different dwarves. DA: 2 gave me new information on my subterranean lovelies in the form of the lost thaig which set my mind racing with ideas and theories. I waited patiently for years until inquisition came out, it promising the opportunity to once again play as my favorite vertically challenged people. I was, disappointed, to once again face issues with camera angles and dialogue options that I felt were lacking in understanding of the lore, but nevertheless this was more than I had years ago so I relished the time I spent with Octan Cadash. Now this new DLC is announced and can I just say I am ecstatic about the promise of new lore and character opportunities for the criminally underrepresented dwarf race. But if bioware fucks this up I will never forgive them.

Cole never uses any items bc he doesn’t want to be mean to people
Anders and Fenris don’t even pay attention to the race, they just spend all their time trying to run each other off the tracks
same with Morrigan and Alistair probably
same also with Iron Bull and Krem, but at least they’re just playfully teasing each other
Sera doesn’t care about winning, she only plays for the joy of ruining people’s lives with blue turtle shells and lightning; sometimes for fun she just keeps doing the entire course backwards
Hawke tries to get Justice to play sometimes but he usually declines (he has a blanket policy against playing video games w/ Hawke or Isabela bc they’re both cheating cheaters who cheat)
Zevran’s the one always slipping on banana peels and falling off the tracks just before he reaches the finish line and then ending up in last place
Sebastian usually doesn’t swear but MarioKart is the exception (long story short, every other word is “fuck” or some variation thereof)
