I recreated (a cropped) "Fallen Angel" by Alexandre Cabanel on a terrible LeapFrog LeapPad Ultra with less than 24 colors. Here is a video of the process. It was torturous.
I recreated Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks" using uDraw and it's terrible tablet for the Wii (and also I turned all the characters into Miis).

I have been testing out painting with one of the blackest, if not the blackest, acrylic paint (called Musou black) and combining it with gouache. Haven’t ironed out the look yet but wow it is wild to stare into a void, your eyes don’t know how to interpret the fact that it doesn't conform to light.

I recreated Goya's "Saturn Devouring His Son" in Mario Paint for the SNES...using an SNES mouse. (Here's the video of me doing it.)
Some folks asked for this Goya recreation as a shirt, so I designed one. I worked with the artist run print studio Raw Paw to make it. You can preorder it until Oct 1st here. Down one sleeve are the words "MARIO PAIN", and all of the color swatches that are in Mario Paint down the other. The back has the undo dog sprite animation frames. Also available as a short sleeve.
I saw on your shop that you use ecofriendly packaging for mailing everything. Do you mind sharing what mailers and bags and such you use for that? I think that's neat and try to use plastic free tape and such but it's hard to find items that work sometimes.
EcoEnclose! Their kraft tape is amazing and I use it to tape any box and they also have water-soluble adhesive tape (but I have not tried that). They are about the same price as any other brand, too.
Also a PSA: Dont buy from ULINE! It is owned by Tr*mpers who have donated more than $60 million to republican campaigns, making them the biggest donor in the entire country (in 2022 at least).
