Crazy day at work.

1. I grab a device from the supply closet. No problem! I put it in the vest I grab that's supplied at work. They are stored in a drawer for us to just grab. When I help the first customer, I pull out my device and there's a maggot on it.

2. I had to report that for obvious reasons. My boss checks the supply closet and vest drawer and doesn't find anything, but still reports it. I later clean the supply closet and it's so incredibly dusty. When dust gets hard and you have to scrap it off...

3. Briefly I'm put in charge of watching the front for the boss' break. It was so stressful. It went fine at first. They only gave me two responsibilities: get people to their break and call for backup if lines get long. So many people ended up calling for questions. A really rude ugly customer would not stop harassing over her own dumb mistake.

4. I was tasked maneuvering a heavy item with a pallet and I probably cane off as dumb. I'm just not good at steering stuff like this.

But I had a lunch break and sitting under these blossoms made things alright

Out of curiosity, I looked up the tuition of some local private schools.

It's around $13,000 - $18,000 a year. Even the Pre-K classes.

#same people that harass me at work over $1.50 will have two kids in private school #I think what really irritates me is that fact that this is a city with a poc majority #and immigrants #but they are so privileged and rich and clearly believe in segregation based on wealth #super liberal too #except when it comes to homeless people

Another bad day.

Oh my God!

They put me on delivering parking lot orders and it was so busy. Only at one point did I get help and it was busy the whole time!

I didn't even get a break until 4 and a half hours.

I honestly think it was in bad faith! When I later told a different manager in charge (they weren't here the whole time they came in afterwards), they said the previous one crossed me off as having my break.

That manger is super picky about me using the walkie-talkie and always has me state I'm taking my break and announce when I get back, even when they in-person told me to go take my break I have to announce it. If I don't do that then they'd say something to me. Well since I didn't get my break, I obviously announced nothing, so they just didn't notice!

Nah! They just crossed me off knowing full well they didn't let me go.

Felt so sad and despised at work last Saturday. Felt really good yesterday. Everyone was so nice. I got tipped money too!
