The word “religion” comes from the Latin word re ligare which means to bind up again. When Adam and Eve sinned they broke our relationship with God. So the whole point of religion, the whole point of Christ’s founding of a Church is to bind us up with God.

That is why the post said “pray”. Take it from me, there are a few true Catholic Universities left in the world. I attend one. It stays true to the magesterium. But places like Notre Dame, Georgetown, and even CUA need prayers. If there is interest, sometime I might compile a list of schools I know personally to still be true. God bless you.

Please join us tomorrow Sunday, June 28th, feast of St. Iranaeus, in praying for religious freedom. Fortnight for Freedom in the United States is from June 21 to July 4, 2015, so we can join our prayers under the bishops of the United States as well as pray for all countries.

Please consider joining us in prayer for the protection of religious freedom 

by offering a mass, a rosary, Divine Mercy chaplet, a holy hour of adoration, Litany for Liberty , prayers of reparation, fasting, or any other prayers that you would like to offer.
