Catlyn can’t remember her parents. She tried and tried, she hunted for photographs or if any recollection. Her mother had died when she was just a baby, a few months old. Her father, on the other hand, had been alive until she was about five years old. Every once in awhile, she will smell a particular scent or see of a glimpse of someone in the crowd and swear that it was him or it reminded her of who he could’ve been. With a wonderful imagination, it often ran away from her in times such as those. Instead of any memories or a single photograph of what she could only imagine was a beautiful couple, she was left with a perpetually enraged stepmother and two stepsisters that were equally as cold and cruel as their mother. She dreamt each night that her sweet, loving parents would whisk her away in the middle of the night and save her from the stepmother that told her time and time again that she didn’t care for her and if she could, she would have rid of her before she had even been born. The threats and insults only escalated from there for the small child.
Forced to wear clothes that fit poorly to school and made to spend the better part of her nights that she wasn’t allowed to sleep cleaning the family’s large manor, she couldn’t remember the last time that the three females in the home spoke a kind word to her. Years went by and not much more changed. She became a place for her stepmother to go to when she was upset, when she needed someone to shout at and degrade until she wept on the floor. It wasn’t until her stepmother signed a contract to Harry Kress for a reason unknown to Catlyn that she was taken from her home and brought to the club. A rumor went around that there was no reason that she had a contract with him, simply that Catlyn’s stepmother didn’t want to pay for her to attend college or live in her home any longer, so she decided to trade something in exchange for her stepdaughter. Horrified by the accusation, Catlyn insisted to anyone that brought it up that there must have been a debt. Surely she was more than a simple exchange.
While obedient and viewed as a very submissive young woman, she has simply masked herself as such. Behind the mask is a very angry and sorrowful person that had been hurt for most of their life. Unable to tear the mask off and stand up for herself, she is stuck. She has decided to work on that and become a stronger individual, in the meantime, she will find a way to her freedom. It had always been a dream of hers to live a life that had a sense of normalcy to it without the horrors that she had gone through. Until then, she remains optimistic about what the future will hold for her and those who are employed with her. While some of the escorts and dancers often laugh at her beliefs on this topic, she has remained strong-willed that she will prevail and eventually have her own life.

Jasmine Kattan (friend): She hasn’t seen her friend in the past few years, but she can only hope that she might be doing better than herself. Every once in awhile, she finds herself hoping that she’ll run into Jasmine in her free time.
Xavier Rhiding (acquaintance): During a party held at the club by a group of businessmen, she met the one they threw it for. The man seemed a little awkward about the whole ordeal but he eventually warmed up to her when he took a break from the crowd and sat down at the bar next to her.
Meghan Stanwyck (co-worker): Meghan is the only one at the club who offers Catlyn a little bit of tough love. While she can only hope that she does it out of the twisted kindness of her own heart, Catlyn can never be too sure. She does try not to cry in front of Meghan.
Dahlia Borges (friend): Catlyn is almost entirely certain that she wouldn’t have made it if weren’t for Dahlia. More of a mother than a friend, she has found a shelter in Dahlia’s arms. She is able to go to Dahlia for anything.
Dina & Annie Tremoire (step-sisters): While it isn’t often that she does run into her step-sisters, she isn’t fond of speaking to them. After all of the harm that they and their mother caused her, she just wants a little less abuse in her life.
