School had never been easy for Remiel. Homework seemed endless to the point that he often gave up on trying to complete most of it. His parents had tried to instill in him that the only way he would have a bright future was if he was successful in school, but he didn't want what they had wanted for him. His mother had been a successful lawyer while his father spent most of his time in the Army. He didn't see his father as much, but both parents made it known in their own ways that their son was very much loved. His mother had a tendency of spoiling her one and only son. When he was a small child, they spent a lot of time together and on special occasions such as one of their birthdays, she would allow him to skip school to celebrate. When his father was honorably discharged, she began to divide her time between the two men in her life. By then, Remy was a teenager and hadn't wanted to spend as much time with his family when it could be out with friends instead. Regardless, he and his mother continued to have a close relationship. It took a few years for him and his father to share some sort of formed bond, but he came to love his father just the same. A mutual respect brought the two men together. Born and raised in Regium, Remy had seen a lot of the bad that the city had to offer. It took quite a bit longer for him to see the good. While he struggled to truly care about the work he did in school, Remy was intelligent. He could learn things on his own, though he never applied himself adequately in his classes. When his teachers allowed him to play catch up with work and he felt as though he wanted to, Remy could easily learn his math problems without the help of his teachers simply by reading through his text book thoroughly. Able to do math in his head and quickly learn Chemistry, his teachers tried their hardest to show the young man the potential he had. Remy had been able to graduate from school, though with average marks that could have been much better if he had only tried a little harder.
Remiel began his adulthood with training to become a mechanic. While it wasn't what his parents had wanted and he had earned an earful from both of his parents about his potential, they eventually let it go when they saw how seriously he took the future occupation. He had been able to find a position at a mechanic's shop in Regium a little while after his training was complete. It was mainly to answer phones and occasionally assist with the other mechanics, but it offered decent hours and the chance to learn even more. As someone who had always harbored a love for all things vehicle related, he was excited just for the chance to possibly work on cars full-time if he were ever offered a position with the shop. His shifts varied from early morning to late at night, where he began to meet the more criminally inclined people of Regium. Unafraid of any that approached him, they seemed to take notice in his knowledgeable conversations. From time to time, Remiel went to the drag strip and watched the races that took place there. However, he knew that his own car probably couldn't beat anyone else's. When he was able, he worked on his own car but he lacked the funds to do a whole lot with his car. It wasn't until he was approached and offered a position with the Sidera that would help his bank account substantially as well as the knowledge of where many street races took place that he realized that he could have plenty of fun in the mean time. His participation in street races was calculated and well-planned, as he didn't want to jeopardize the job he currently had at the shop. This also came into play with his new position as a Getaway Driver with the Sidera. A part of him, when on a job, is perpetually afraid that he might have taken on a little more than he could deal with, but that is quick to fade away whenever he does a job and is successful. The adrenaline is enough that he is almost addicted to all of the various lives he is currently leading.
Most people who encounter Remy believe there isn't a whole lot going on under the surface. He often comes off as highly arrogant, often acting as though he is superior than many others. Especially when the topic comes down to what he knows best: cars. In truth, Remy is a certain brand of perfectionist that is difficult for others to notice. Underneath the conceited mask he will wear often enough, there is a part of him that feels unfulfilled due to his dream not being a reality yet. However, he is aware that he will need to work much harder if he'd ever like to live out his dream. While he can often be both vapid and self-centered, he does tend to put his work as part of the Sidera ahead of himself as it'll be what he is known for. His work has always been the most important aspect of his life. He views it as an extension of himself. As someone who won't complete a project only halfway, Remy is known throughout his organization as someone who will do his job but do it correctly. Which would mean that he is not only a capable driver, but very punctual as well as someone who will take his job very seriously. Outside of work, he can often be competitive in just about every aspect of his life. Most of it is in good fun. Remy is very sociable and fun-loving outside of work.

Saoirse Carrera (acquaintance): Another member of the Sidera, he met her when he accompanied her on one of her jobs. She doesn't seem to care much for him and he isn't too sure why. He would like to spend more time with her, if only he knew why she didn't like him as much as he thinks she should.
Matthieu Terrance (friend): One of his coworkers from the shop he works at, he and the man get along famously. Matt is absolutely one of his favorite people, but he would never tell him about his side jobs. Mainly, because a tiny part of him is fully aware of how wrong it is though he doesn't exactly regret it.
Zachary Greyer (employer): Despite the man not actually being the 'boss' of the organization, he was the one who had offered him a position. Apparently the organization lacked drivers and after he had been seen to have an abundance of knowledge that revolved around various vehicles, he was offered the position. He and Zachary have a mutual respect for one another.
Vivienne Beaumont (coworker): He finds her personality to be a little bit intimidating, but he has been able to get past that to work with her on occasion. While they aren't too terribly close, he thinks that she's someone that he might want to get to know if the situation ever arose and he was able to.
Aubrey Ramirez (boss): Unaware of her affiliation with the Merveilles, he would never tell her about his affiliation due to the fear that she might not understand. Afraid he would be fired, he tries to be the best employee he can be as well as befriend his boss in the hopes that it might help if he were ever in a dire situation.
