Like 0(with 32 being freezing of water) -100 is a lot better than 0-40 like doing it based on water come on man

Also it fits nicely with the power of ten

0 = freezing water

100 = boiling water

Also also it works nicely for outside temperature as well:

below 0 = really cold

0 = cold

10 = lauwarm

20 = warm

30 = hot

F is better than that it’s more what the sun is cooking you at 😂 and you can’t forget about body temp I as well (yes I know F was created while there were a lot of low grade fevers going around) but 98.6 is a lot better to tell body temp than what 37/38 idk

When you covert F to C or C to F you get a lot of decimals as well
