I will forever find it funny how we rank and prefer one ship over another in the Love Square, considering they’re the same two people.

It’s proof even the audience associates Ladybug and Marinette, and Cat Noir and Adrien to be two different people.

So basically Ladybug’s an immortal vampire and Cat Noir is her Bella Swan.

Perfect. I love it.

Always thinking about an AU where there’s a secret love between these two.

Marinette and Adrien are friends in school, in fact really close friends. But, the thing they don’t know is their hero identities. However, they start dating when they switch into their hero identities.

They spend way more time patrolling. They’re super flirty and affectionate. Everyone lives for it and wants to know who they really are. The audience is on the edge of their seats waiting for their reveal, but it’s getting put off not because it’s dangerous, but because they like this thrill of not knowing their real identities. It’s legitimately a second life.

Then, Adrien and Marinette start seeing each other less as friends and they don’t understand why one doesn’t want to see the other. There’s a lot of suspicion, and they start to try and figure each other out. As time goes on, they see more and more similarities - Adrien vs Cat Noir, Marinette vs Ladybug.

Things end up getting real tense in their romantic relationship and they get into some really big argument. Hawk Moth akumatizes them during this and the reveal happens. Hawk Moth directs them into his lair so they can give him their miraculouses, thinking he can manipulate Adrien into siding with him.

Instead, with the strength of the romantic + platonic relationship, they snap out of the akuma and duke it out with Hawk Moth.

Here's the thing about Kwamibuster. We often clown on Marinette's plan that involved wearing 17 Miraculous at once, and using 4 of them, and how overly complicated that was. And we often clown on Adrien's plan that involved calling the school an elementary school instead of a high school. But.

Each of their plans says infinitely less about the person who made it than the person it was made to trick.

Marinette knew that Chat is smart, and that if he suspected her of being Ladybug (which he did!) he'd need a lot convincing otherwise. Marinette knew that she needed to go all in and give undeniable proof that she could not be Ladybug, and so her plan needed to be so complicated — she didn't overcomplicate it for her sake, she overcomplicated for his. It just so happens that she has exactly the skill set to overcomplicate in the perfect way.

Likewise, Adrien's plan may seem simple, but he knew he didn't need a more complicated plan! Ladybug is incredibly trusting of him, and doesn't believe he'd lie to her — which, mostly, is true. He knew that her mind is torn 100 directions at once, and that she can't give too much energy to pursuing any one direction for too long, and that if he pushes it too hard she's more likely to think that something is out of the ordinary. And yeah, he's not exactly known for his complicated plans, which is probably a good thing, in this case.

The fact is that they have exactly the skill sets they need to lie to the other and they rarely use those skill sets and in conclusion I love they <3

I’ll always find it hilarious in Kwamibuster how Ladybug was like “I really got trick Cat Noir into thinking I’m not Marinette!” and comes up with an elaborate illusion.

Meanwhile Cat Noir is just like “Oh this is an elementary school right?”

Let’s be real: Cat Noir just wanted to do some arts and crafts while Ladybug duked it out with Harry, getting out that rage

I wonder what Master Fu and Master Su Han’s relationship was like before Master Fu lost his memory. I’d like to think they were friends and then Su Han lost respect for him after he picked teenagers to be miraculous holders.

Ladrien could’ve been the most successful ship if these two weren’t oblivious.

Look at the way they both stutter and blush in front of each other. Look at the lengths Adrien goes to help Ladybug. Consider how Ladybug picked this boy twice with two different miraculouses to join the miraculous team.

They don’t try to hide their feelings. Figure. It. Out.

Still thinking about how Adrien refused to put the Cat Noir mask on in Frightening Gale.

He shouldn’t have been scared because...

1) Plagg was right: the people of Paris are blind.

2) How in the world would he have looked like Cat Noir? He doesn’t have the green cat eyes and the super messy hair. Plus, it’s not even like he had to act like him, either.

He would’ve been fine. Marinette was the only one at risk since her eyes and hair are the same when she transforms.

After Glaciator 2, I need another few Marichat hang out sessions. They go do fun things and really solidify their friendship.

Then, at some point, Cat Noir is like, “So is your boyfriend ‘Buttercup’ okay with me spending time with you? I still don’t even know his real name.”

Marinette’s all flustered.

Cat Noir goes, “Do you really have a boyfriend, or do you just like me?”

Finally, Marinette’s like, “No, I don’t have a boyfriend. You got me. I had feelings for Adrien Agreste for a long time, but” - she grabs his hands - “I think that might be changing...”

Then Cat Noir just starts tearing up, not knowing what to say.
