abigail is a changeling

hannibal is a wild fae keeping an eye on abigail. abigail is actually his child. in this verse, fae could only reproduce by seeding their child into a human like some kind of parasite, waiting for the child to mature enough to pluck out of the human world.

will comes to hannibal’s attention when he begins investigating into the murders made by abigail’s “father” and decides to follow him around out of curiosity. will notices that something’s fucky but his encephalitis is just beginning to manifest and the legit supernatural gets lost among the hallucinations.

alana and will end up having the most awkward therapy sessions known to man. but at least alana doesn’t withhold treatment when she finally figures out that there may be something going on with will’s brain.

hannibal is really into getting hurt like woah

hannibal is a changeling and therefore has a convenient excuse to have different morals and mannerisms but the truth is he’s a weirdo even by fae standards. the whole hunting/capture as courting can def be traced back to his fae origins tho.

at this point hannibal is actually more human than fae and therefore has not much access to any supernatural powers. if he decides to shed his humanity there’d be no going back so he’s def milking being human for all it’s worth before he goes

Everything is relative—there is always someone making more money, getting more offers, who is seemingly getting more, and you have to be comfortable with where you are in your life which doesn’t mean you can’t be working hard at the same time. But knowing this has been critical for me to recognize every single day that I have been lucky to work as an actor. You can’t see the view from the top of the peak unless you’ve crawled in the lowest parts of the valley.
