ela-polat:
“no! you don’t get to do this!” rarely ever did ela raise her voice. she had always been soft spoken, and even when she was upset she still kept her tone calm and collected. however, at the moment her emotions were all over the place as cato stood in front of her, explaining that he wanted to start over. “that’s not your decision to make, cato! it’s not! i asked for a divorce for a reason…why can’t you respect my decision and just let it be?” there was a small part of her that wanted to admit she felt the same way when she saw her ex-husband, but that feeling was currently being overpowered by her frustration and anger.
it was bad when she raised her voice, and some part of him felt his heart break knowing he was the cause of that. so he lets his hands drop to his side, lips pursed as he looks off in thought. ‘’i know. i know, i know.. i’m sorry for that.’’ hand moves up to run along his face as he finally brings his gaze to meet hers. ‘’i’m sorry, ela. i.. i’ll respect your decision but you just.. know, that.. i won’t stop feeling the way i do about you. that’s one of the things that won’t change.’’
