I have many paintings for sale at the moment on eBay! Great chance to pick up a bargain as they are on sale at half the price of the galleries. Interested, then contact me.
I love it when a buyer sends a photo of the paintings they bought from me, showing them framed and in situ, especially when they are now on the other side of world in Australia! These three acrylics were bought over 4 years ago and I received a photo last week.
These three still life paintings are available for sale. If you are interested please contact me for more information. All painted on thick canvas board in acrylics.
Spent the afternoon at the framer today choosing a simple float frame for the Hugh Quarshie portrait ready to take it down to London next week for the final round of judging for the BP Portrait Awards 2016. Excited to see what it looks like at the end of the week all framed up!
Very excited that this portrait I painted of Hugh Quarshie has reached the second stage of judging after the digital round, for the BP Portrait Awards 2016! I was so amazed when I read the email. I will now get the painting framed and down to London for the judges to see it in reality! I really is an honour to have got this far in competition when you think how many entries there are from around the world. To have had my work judged worthy to have reached this stage is an accomplishment in itself for me. One month to wait now.....

BP Portrait Awards 2016
I have decided to enter this portrait of Hugh Quarshie into the BP Portrait Awards 2016, so now am waiting to hear if I have got through the the next stage of judging! Will receive and email on Feb 26 apparently!
I was recently lucky enough to see Othello at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford upon Avon and watch Hugh Quarshie in the role.
A few weeks later I contacted him via Twitter to see if he would be happy for me to paint a portrait of him. As I realised it would be impossible for him to find the time to ‘sit’ while I painted, we met backstage at the RST and I photographed him and worked from that.
I am pleased with the result and may still do some more work on it. It’s painted in acrylics with many washes to keep the luminous quality of the under painting coming through.
Been working on a series of still life paintings for an upcoming exhibition over the summer months at Forge2 Gallery in Cullworth. They are 8"x8" in acrylic. The theme is food related which I love painting.

This is my fifth row in a year taking part in the Twitter Art Exhibition. This year the postcard paintings are being sent to Moss in Norway to help raise funds for Home-Start, a charity that helps families in need. Over 300 paintings have been received so far from 25 different countries and they will be auctioned for the charity.
My little painting this year is a 16 X 12 cm acrylic of my Grandma’s old silver spoon. I have painted many versions of this spoon and it has sold very well.
A few of the paintings of glass I am putting into my up coming exhibition.
I have an art exhibition coming up soon in Chipping Camden at The Gallery at the Guild. (10 Oct-19 November). Working hard building up stock for the exhibition and loving it. Here are a few of the pieces that will be hung.
Love the countryside at this time of year.
Attended the Bath Spa University Degree Show at Sion Hill last week. Such talented young people showing their photography, fine art, graphics and sculpture.
