Artist’s surreal tribute to dead cat causes social media sensation Word has it that the best way to get over somebody is to enshrine his or her memory into a piece of art or literature. One British artist might just have been inspired by this idea, by transferring his grief over his dead pet cat into a series of visually stunning artworks. Taken from the mind of “surrealist” artist Richard Saunders and rendered into high-quality fantastical images - the topiary cat has been taking social media by storm, according to BBC. The pictures all featured his beloved cat Tolly, who died in February.
