I just wanted to share this for those struggling with nose bumps after getting it pierced. I got my nose pierced mid November of 2017 & I was told to use dial antibacterial soap and to clean it at least 3 times a day. So that’s what I did. I noticed a small bump under my piercing maybe a week and a half later and started cleaning it even more. It wasn’t working though. The bump kept getting bigger and bigger. I seriously thought it would never go away. After some research, I found that toothpaste worked best for me. I put a little on the bump right before bed and I would wash it off when I woke up the next morning. I did this for a week and the bump went down significantly. I did it every few days after that and now my bump is completely gone! I do have a tiny scar tho since it took me so long to figure out how to get rid of it. Hope this helps someone!

Do you booboo.

You act different when you’re trying to make new people you meet feel “comfortable.” It has a very try hard type of feel to it, and it kind of annoys me. Ok, it reaaaaally annoys me. Then you add getting high into the mix and you end up annoying me even more.

I need more.

I need to know that somewhere down the line we'll get married and start a family. Sure we talk about it but I need some kind of proof that that's where we're headed. We've been together for about 2 and a half years and it's been the same thing day in and day out. I need something more from you. I just want to know that I'm spending my time with the right person. I want to know that my time isn't being wasted with someone who doesn't see me in their future. You know that I want kids soon and that I do want to have a wedding before the kids. I feel like I'm running out of time to start my family. I've told you multiple times that I don't want to be old when I have my first baby. Anyone can tell me that they want to marry me and have babies with me and anyone can lie about it, so please. I. Need. More.

I think I've reached my breaking point. I'm hating life so much right now. You took away my peace of mind. You hurt me emotionally and I can't bounce back. I don't want to do this anymore. I don't want to live here anymore. I feel like I'm literally crying for help but no one can save me. I can't even save myself. I'm really debating if I should pack the rest of my stuff and leave. But where would I go? How would I survive? Why is this happening to me?

Early Sunday morning around 5 AM, I had thrown up. I was scheduled to work at 8:30 later that day but didn't think I could go through my shift feeling nauseous. I didn't want to risk throwing up at the store and having to close or throw away food because of me. So I texted my GM that I was vomiting. I also texted the manager on duty the same. I received a few days off and when I came back, this paper was posted on the wall. My management team is full of shit. What I don't understand is, how am I supposed to call the store at 6:30 in the morning (2 hours ahead) when no one would be there until 8:30. We don't have a voice message machine. It irks me how passive aggressive this is and how it also says to try and work my shift when we had a meeting about not coming to work when you're sick. If I wasn't thinking about my team, I would've shown up sick. I am aware of all the food safety meetings we've had and about the norovirus that's been going on. Why would I risk the stores business? Fuck you guys.

Work Work Work

How do you explain to a person how you feel about what’s going on at work in a way they would understand? I want my partner to get how I’m feeling, but he can’t. I’m busting my ass off at work and it’s still not good enough. There’s always something I’m doing wrong. I’m so tired and stressed out about everything!

I’ve noticed I’ve stopped pushing. I’ve stopped trying to make my managers happy and just did the work I’m there for. Work used to be fun. I used to get excited to come and see everyone and now work is just work. I feel like I can’t even smile or talk to my fellow crew members without a manager telling me to do something. I don’t even stand there and talk either. I still do the work at the same speed but it feels like I’m not allowed to talk to the others.

Over And Over

Don’t you just hate it when someone tells you something repeatedly? And I don’t mean like when your mom is telling you what to do but more towards when someone is telling you about something that happened. I find it super annoying! If you’re going to tell me a story, just say it once. You don’t have to keep repeating yourself as if you haven’t already told me. I can assure you, I heard it the first time. Repeating it doesn’t make it more interesting.

I think I've decided on finding a different job. I just feel out of place with my current one. I've always worked with food ever since I was in high school and I feel that it's time to find something different. Maybe I'll discover a hidden talent, who knows.

KMIT

I was offered to train to be a kitchen manager(KM) early February and I told my general manager that I wasn’t confident enough to do it. Mostly because I didn’t want to do grill and I didn’t want all the extra responsibility that comes with being a kitchen manager. My general manager told me from the beginning that I didn’t have to be the best on grill and that I only needed to have the knowledge of it to be a KM. After a long talk, I told her that I’d try it out and we would go from there. So during the trial period, I saw myself stepping up and actually taking that leadership role with my coworkers. I thought I was doing a great job so far and within the following weeks, my managers all sat me down and gave me a kitchen manager training book to sign. I was told that signing this book would be my commitment to being a KM. They also signed it as their commitment to me. They built up all this confidence in me and made me think I was doing great just to pull it all out from under me. Yesterday I received the news that I wasn’t going to be the next KM. They had picked someone else. They told me it was because I wasn’t “confident” enough and that they didn’t do their part on training as best as they could have. I was so unsure of how I felt at that moment. I know that I did this whole thing not really wanting it but somewhere in the middle I started to. I thought I was good enough for once. I feel used and taken for granted. I’m actually dreading the thought of telling my family and friends when they ask how’s work. Mostly I just feel unappreciated. And even though I didn’t get the promotion I’m still proud for making it as far as I did.
