My favorite thing rn is to think about Steven as a college student, so I drew him doing college band stuff. Headcanons under the cut!

In my brain, he's a Music Therapy major. Connie helped him get his GED, and he got a pretty good ACT score. Greg is paying for half of his college, while scholarships are covering the rest of it. He's a percussion primary in marching/concert band, but he still gets to do stuff with ukulele and guitar in his music therapy classes and stuff. When he has to wear concert black, he wears his marching shoes because he simply does not own shoes that aren't flip flops. He also wears either a star clip on his tie or a star pin on his lapel because he's gotta represent. The gems try to come to as many of his concerts and games as possible. They're really proud of him.
