Musing aloud wasn’t usually Kit’s style, but there was a rude group of monsters that he ran into today who apparently took to picking on humans as a pass-time. ( & since Kit looked entirely human, they of course stopped him on his walk home. )
Now he was sitting on a bench at the park, watching people pass by, lip busted, not entirely sure how he managed to get away, & he was . . . tired. He was so tired.

An attempt to provide comforting words to the android fell from human lips------he knew that would dampen what he was saying, but, despite his nerves, he still spoke up. Shooing away terrible people was nothing if he didn’t say . . . something after they were gone. Maybe it was a hope to show the other that not all humans were bad ? It was a stretch, but it was something he tried to do daily, even if it didn’t always work out. He knew some androids still had a hard time trusting humans------& he completely understood, & expected, it.
