IMPORTANT NOTE: as of 1/21/25, mun is in grad school. in character activity may be exceptionally spotty and replies will be very slow.
GOLDEN RULE. obligatory "don't be a dick" rule. don't follow if you are a shitty person.
ACTIVITY. activity is sporadic and irregular, at the whim of my energy level and adhd. I work 40hrs a week and take care of my life, pets, and myself all alone. roleplay is a low priority and something i do for fun.
WRITING PARTNERS. i will not follow or write with anyone under 18. as someone now in my mid-20s where there may be nsfw on this blog i do not feel comfortable having minors in my space.
INTERACTIONS. plotting and asks are usually the easiest way to interact. i occasionally post starter calls but they can take a while to get done. please feel free to continue on any asks into threads. i also will sometimes do dash commentary.
WRITING & FORMATTING. i use fairly minimal formatting, and even then it's wildly inconsistent. the key features of my formatting are all lowercase, "bold text for quotes / speaking" and small text. i use beta editor, and also have new xkit to cut posts. if you need different formatting requirements for any reason, please just beep me & i will adapt, gladly! i tend to write from a few sentences to multiple paragraphs, depending on my partner & the thread.
PLOTTING. i love established dynamics! please, please, *please* feel free to reach out for any kinds of dynamics.
SHIPPING. iggwilv is complicated. the long & short of it is, at the end of the day, her one true love will always be graz'zt. as much as she may act otherwise. as such, it is unlikely that genuine romance will occur.
that being said, she has over the years developed quite a line of consorts and flings. just...don't expect long-term serious commitment from her. that being said, please send me shippy memes and please feel free to chat with me about that kind of dynamic. just know she is likely gonna manipulate the hell out of you. <3
TRIGGERING CONTENT. there will be potentially triggering themes on this blog. this includes allusions to abuse, manipulation, unhealthy relationships, child neglect, and a lot of other toxic behaviors. if i miss tagging things in a thread, please do not hesitate to ask for it!
NSFW CONTENT. any nsfw or suggestive posts will be tagged cw usft. explicit nsfw will be under a read more if it appears.
ASK ME ANYTHING. this blog is permanently a work in progress. not all information may be available, if you don't see the information you need, or have any questions, please let me know.
hello! next week (jan 21) i begin the horrifyingly daunting task of my first semester of grad school (i am so nervous). i will still be working my full-time schedule as well. so, activity will be even more sporadic and spotty then usual.
i just wanted to put this out there so everyone is aware that i am still here & still love all of my children (and all of my writing partners!!) but that i may be even more sporadic, forgetful, and slow on replies to both DMs & threads, especially longer ones. you might get to see and influx of smaller threads / replies and/or mobile writing. also, queueing.
if you want to reach out to me on discord to chat, plot, etc it is always open to mutuals (just send me a DM on tumblr)!
thank you all so much!!
The Witch Queen of Perrenland sealed General Goldriver’s fate in an instant, but Graz’zt declined to give her the reaction she wanted just then. The mortal man was soon to be far too brutally dead to inspire much lust in anyone, and Iggwilv knew it, but her Abyssal conquest was not without his pride. He would offer her ego no satisfaction, the brat.
His handsome face remained perfectly, pleasantly neutral as he leaned down, hands clasped behind his back, to speak directly into her ear, low and close. He was intentional in not touching her; they were, after all, in an open corridor. It would hardly have been appropriate.
“General Goldriver is a perfectly dutiful man; I have all the confidence in the world that he is as grim about fucking as he is warmongering.”
"and what's wrong with dutiful? i'm sure there is quite a lot he would be very dutiful about with a woman like me. perhaps you could learn a thing or two about that?" she taunts, though she doesn't disagree. general goldriver was handsome enough and were it any other demon her consort, perhaps she truly would lust for the man. but, he was becoming useless to her, and so what was a better way than to send him to his death without her own hands in it than to enlist the rage and jealous nature of her favorite demon lord.
she gazes up at graz'zt, dark eyes glittering amusement. she savors his expression - perfectly crafted as much as the rest of him - for a moment longer. before, she turns her attention to other matters.
"are you terribly busy, right now?" a superfluous question, as if he wasn't bound her her every whim and wish. perhaps he could be busy, theoretically, but he wouldn't be for her. "i have hideous sins to get up to and your assistance is useful." she turns on her heel and begins walking away, snapping her fingers as if calling for a dog.
tasha was many things. sentimental was not one of them. but there is a passing thought of how much rakatak and iuz would have in common, in a way that makes her almost miss her son. she could see the hobgoblin approaching similar heights someday — tyrannical rule and all.
"your little group seems quite unpopular." she remarked, dryly, when the group makes their way back to camp, several of them bloody in some form. she hardly felt sympathy for them. they were all more than capable of dealing with these threats. "who got in the way this time? hook horrors? myconids? more dwarves?"
she is curious. the underdark is not new to her, but it is always fascinating. the things that thrive down in the belly of this planet were fascinating. and deadly. which made it better.
❛ your vote of confidence is overwhelming. ❜ — from @slaycults
"is it?" tasha tilts her head, choosing to ignore any sarcasm in the words.
as she watches him practice with the training dummy. the animated mannequin was her attempt at testing the demigod - and entertaining herself. "try not to be distracted by it, then." she remarked, with amusement.
she studies them a few moments more, before flicking her wrist to animate a second one of the training mannequins, directing it towards the fighter with a casual ease. "if you're finding this too easy, perhaps i should find something larger for you to practice against, shirahama."
shout out to eve of ruin for canonically saying "zybilna has shit to do and a kingdom to run so she can just split a version her past self to help accomplish things".
tasha is first encountered in the arcane tower in the underdark.
wizards, knowledge clerics & fiend-locks have special dialogue options. otherwise, passive history check, DC 15.
introduces herself, and mentions she heard through the grapevine that the tadfools 'have some problems'.
"no, not those little brainworms, you all are quite capable of dealing with that. the actual problems." looking at karlach and/or astarion.
basically offers that should they be wishing for a better option than that fool of a devil or that nagging voice in your head, she's amenable to offering her aid.
tells you to think on it, and that she'll be in touch and disappears.
you next find her waiting for you at your camp when you get to rivington.
here, she offers you a deal: get her the crown, however you wish to deal with the brain; and she will offer to cure both lingering afflictions of your companions via wish spell (karlach's infernal engine & astarion's vampirism).
with a DC 20 persuasion check and she will cure karlach's heart then, but says that 1) she can put it right back how it was and 2) the second spell will not be until you give her what you've agreed on.
if you give her the crown, there is a post-scene where she casts the spell to cure spawn!astarion.
if you choose to go back on her deal, she uses a wish spell to reverse her previous help to karlach, and offers to pass on the knowledge to those in the hells. :)
tasha does not like mystra. in fact, i would go as far as to say she outright hates the goddess. and she is not afraid to say as much, either.
if asked, she simply will say she finds her annoying, aggrandizing, and boring; she doesn't understand why anyone would want a goddess of magic who has so many stupid rules.
"i've heard you are quite the leader, general thorm."
the woman sits in his chair, at his desk, feet kicked up on his desk, studying her nails, as if this was nothing but a normal day, "though admittedly the last time i was here these lands looked a bit nicer." a sigh, slightly dramatic and slightly amused.
iggwilv doesn't come for pleasantries, though she does find a small hint of satisfaction in how easily the fortress that ketheric built was able to be breached by herself, though that was hardly their fault. few places could keep her out by now.
"i heard you're planning on marching and army upon baldur's gate?" the question is curious and casual, as if asking about the weather and not a plan who knows how long in the making.
good morning, i am thinking about tasha's other messy ex this morning.
[from van richten's guide to ravenloft]
zybilna enlisted the help of a powerful fiend known only as "the caller" to corrupt and slay all of Isolde’s companions, leaving the eladrin alone, bitter, and vulnerable. the insidious archfey then befriended isolde and offereed to help her forget her terrible losses. isolde became the master of a traveling fey carnival that served as the gateway to zyblina's domain. the carnival did what zybilna hooped it would do: it brough comfort to isolde and quelled her thirst for vengence.
zybilna and isolde enjoyed a strong partnership for years ... until their relationship finally soured. [isolde] wished to leave the fey carnival and pursue other dreams, but zybilna wouldn't hear of it and secretly used wish spells to make isolde place her devotion to the carnival above her desire to lead it.
when isolde's fey carnival crossed paths with another carnival from the shadowfell ... isolde orchestrated a trade witt the other carnival's owners.
[zybilna] let isolde go but not without casting a spell that would make isolde forget about her and her feywild domain, thus preventing the eladrin from divulging the archfey's secrets. as further punishment, zybilna sent malevolent fey creatures to hound isolde and her shadowfell carnival.
