My thoughts on season 26 of svu and season 5 of OC:
26x01, didnât care for itâŚ
26x02, definitely more interested in this weeks case compared to last weekâŚ
26x03, actually okay, not memorable or anything like it but good enough to kind of keep my attention. Something I did notice: the doctor was held at gunpoint and she got zero sympathy from Benson or Rollins. Ending was a bit weird, like who else would Rollins be calling?
26x04, that Dad is gross! Carisi should absolutely not be in that room.
26x05, that escalated quickly. The undercover-cover was a good idea.
26x06, honestly not too shabby about stabbing himselfâŚ
26x07, I didnât really like Carisiâs storyline, but I did like the ending of it.
26x08, hey look, itâs not Benson thatâs being held hostage. Oh look, Benson is volunteering (this ainât the Hunger Games!)
26x09, they are actually in court again.
26x10, just eh. Also no court again. Are we gonna see an episode with a female perp this season?
26x11, how did the perp no in which hospital she was to send her flowers?
26x12, all of the squad taking a drink to pretend not to have heard the argument was funny.
26x13, I liked Velasco in here. No idea why he was expected to have such a big influence ln the community thoughâŚ
26x14, court scene. I donât understand why they write Carisi like he is lucky to win any case.
26x15, well we get a female perp, however⌠it wasnât like she went out looking for it⌠aaaand not her âfaultâ. I have a bit of a problem that they are putting this as rape of the dude, not that the other way arounf is any better⌠but I actually care about the outcome here. I actually like that they called it a mistrial, cause that case was a mess!
26x16, Benson believes in a God? When did that happen?
26x17, amazing how fast people detox on tv.
26x18, didnât really care for the caseâŚ
26x19, I forgot this was a crossover and was really confused at the start. First time we see Noah. Kinda nice to see Rita, not that I like her, but I miss when they had regulars on. Stabler!!!
26x20, I missed kidnappings. This doesnât seem like they think itâs time sensitive, donât know if they would need to change the dialoge or just film it differntly or both, but itâs just moving so slowly⌠as bad as this case is, I actually enjoy that itâs a bit more horrific than the usual cases this season.
26x21, okay case I guess.
OC 5x01, oh yes, cutting someone up is sociopatic, but burning them is totally fine. Kids and Women in danger and Stabler is immediatly on the case or helping out. Considering that Eli is technicaly 17, it is pretty funny to see him in uniform. âYou want a staplerâ the writers new what they were doing. Her lying down in the car canât possibly end wellâŚ
OC 5x02, oh look, Stabler is hurt again. Benson! Benson and Bernie together was sweet. Randall has no shame and I love it! No clue why Benson gets a debrief with the oc team, but it doesnât really matter, does it? The phone call is just good comedy. That car scene was so soft! Finally a Benson and Stabler interogation again. I would have loved to see Benson go undercover⌠aaaand Stabler goes back to the hospital. And there goes Benson, not to be seen againâŚ
OC 5x03, the wig!!! Well, where Benson is, Kathy ainât far (though I could have done without her). Still donât really like Eli⌠weird exit for Jet. At least they had a goodbye scene with her and Stabler.
OC 5x04, I like when they explore Stablerâs faith, especially since itâs been a constant since the beginning. Blood bath. I really dislike Eliâs seargant. Blood bath, the second. And then thereâs EliâŚ
OC 5x05, Eli definitely should have his rep there⌠of course itâs the same guy from IAB that investigated Stabler. Elliot abd Randall aee still my favorite duo onnthis show! Stabler getting (kinda) hurt again. I personally could have lived without seeing the amputation. The conversation with Becky was interesting, cause I never got the impression that Elliot wanted anyone in his family to become a cop. So that Eli feels like he has to do it, is an interesting interpretation (then again, people can interpret actions very differently, especially from parents). Btw, absolute no on Joeâs hair! Warner!
OC 5x06, blood bath. I really want to know why Stabler is working out in that kind of gym. For some reason it annoys me, that they couldnât straighten out that beamer⌠Stabler having to question his morals again. Love that he did the right thing, especially because he wasnât expected to!
OC 5x07, Owen Stabler is a hard pass from me. I like that Stabler stood up for Vargas. Eli⌠Stabler really stepping up as grandpa. That poor artist! Dude holding a memorial is just cold. Joeâs back.
OC 5x08, I want a Randall and Stabler spinoff with Benson and Kathleen, doesnât even need a storyline⌠this and the last episode are horifyingly good at showing what technolagy is capable of. Nice call back to the tremors. Vargas saving the day! Throw Bernie into that show as well. Kathleen!!!
OC 5x09, oh Joe. Joe an Stabler on the roof reminds me why I donât work with family members⌠poor Joe, poor Stabler.
OC 5x10, Stabler sorta going off the deep end. Joey coming through! Bernie and Stabler scenes are always sweet.
Overall I really enjoyed OC and hope it gets another season. The SVU watch was a lot harder to get through, because most cases were just okay. Thought it was interesting that OC had their cases last over two episodes, didnât make it feel rushed, but also didnât overstay their welcome
