It seems to get lost that this is a legitimately huge deal. Clinton being elected would be perhaps the biggest feminist landmark of this century. Three weeks ago I canvassed with a 70-year old woman who was thrilled by the slogan, “I’m With Her.” She kept repeating, “Wow. ‘Her.’ That’s really something.” So in all of Trump’s bullshit, let’s not forget how important and historic her candidacy is.

like i am definitely not the biggest fan of hillary clinton on a personal level but ive gained a whole new sense of respect for her because theres no way i could stand on stage next to a giant orange skittle yelling over me for this long and just keep my cool like she is her demeanor is so fucking admirable

And Trump tried to claim to her face that she didn’t have the “right temperament” to be president while she’s standing there smiling as he just gets angrier and angrier.  Like, damn.  Talk about projecting.

We are sitting on the rooftop staring at the huge crowd passing across the street. Your hands touch my skin after days of craving the feeling of your fingerprints on it and suddenly the blood starts running through my veins again; warm, rapid, electric, alive, just like that huge crowd.   I spent days wondering if there is a way to make the words “I love you” come out of your lips and slip into my soul. Everytime I kiss you a thousand of my “I love you’s” are locked up on my lips, struggling to find a way to get tangled with your tongue and uncage yours.   On the bus ride home I recalled the way your hands struggled to bring me closer even if we were already touching each other, the tender melody of your “I missed you”, the way you kept my hair tangled in between your fingers while I was telling you about my day. They were screaming a thousand “I love you’s”.
