xstillsane dear arabella van allen (the one i knew in high school).
I always wondered what had happened to the girl I used to love, and now I've realised I lost her. A long time ago, it seems. I doubt if I'll ever see you again, not since you're getting married. Or you already are, I don't know when the wedding date is.
So here's a final Valentine's present, along with one I'd already gotten ready, especially for you on our second Valentine's day together, but you disappeared before I had time to give it to you.
A rose for every year I've spent thinking about you, and loved you alongside that. The diamond bracelet, small but the only thing I could afford at the time. I kept it in hopes that I'd see you again.
I don't care if your fiancé, or husband comes to find me and punches me for this, but it had to happen. I had to give it to you before you disappeared again, for good. So take this as a goodbye if you will, as I doubt we'll see or speak to each other gain. Good luck, with your new life.
love, cayne houston (the same person you knew in high school).
