currently thinking about leo and lisa from “Leonardo”
real ones know jonathan bailey from cbbc's leonardo (2011)
real ones also listen to Fantastico: The CBBC Leonardo podcast featuring some special guests from the show (and more coming in the new year!)
Every single Jonathan Bailey fan is fake unless they watched the 13 year old CBBC show starring him called Leonardo- about the totally historically accurate adventures of young Leonardo Da Vinci, his stupid nipple hat, his infuriatingly too-short bike, and his friends: a rich guy he has homoerotic tension with, Lisa (yes, as in Mona Lisa they're very creative) and other historical figure Machiavelli
I never thought I'd hear prominent historical figure, Lorenzo de Medici being referred to as a "rich guy" or hear someone say the show Leonardo has queer energy
except maybe in our podcast (which you can listen to wherever you get your podcasts)
Episode 8 recap! In preparation for Wednesday's podcast episode:
I suppose it doesn't make a lot of sense for Taylor Swift to be heavily featured in this recap, and yet at the same time, it makes perfect sense
Listen to the podcast here
More recaps here
Can't believe I'm finally saying this but ALISTAIR MCGOWAN came on our podcast
(That's Piero de Medici himself!)
Listen in as Alistair talks through everything you’d ever wanted to know about Piero, from what it was like playing the villain and the experience of filming Leonardo in South Africa.
Listen on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts!
My favourite moment from episode 6...
I suppose the context for this joke is that Piero's wife Theresa isn't really used much in season one.
AND this is the episode Piero gets a password protected security system. The gang have to crack the code twice, the first time Piero uses his own birthday (narc much?) and the second he uses Lorenzo's (good dad moment). But he never considers using his wife's.
Lorenzo doesn't even entertain the idea that Piero *might* have set the password as her birthday. The gang also don't seem to question this.
A side note is I'm SO excited to get to season 2 where Theresa is given more to do and becomes a sort of secondary villain?
Something cool I discovered about Leonardo and Mac's handshake...
Mac and Leo's secret handshake (which I may have tried to pressure my friends into doing with me as a teen) is something Mac also does with Carlo in The Lightning Box.
You remember Carlo? The Scottish friend from Mac's past, who tries to steal the Lightning Box and also pushes our boy Lorenzo into a wall?
Which either means Carlo invented the shake, taught Mac who then taught Leo, or baby Mac invented the shake, taught "big brother" Carlo then found Leo and taught him too.
Hi everyone,
I've been a fan of Leonardo since it aired in 2011 and I made a podcast (Fantastico) where I watch the show with my friends who are seeing it for the first time.
There’ll be laughter, historical fun facts, and some VERY special guests along the way so tune in on Spotify or Apple Podcasts!
The first episode is out now!
I will mostly be posting updates on Instagram (@fantasticopod) but just wanted to check in with any Leo fans that exist here!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made a blog for the pod!
