Controversial Redesign for Shell Oils

The cruelties of Shell Oils as a company have destroyed landmarks and many lives, the people of Nigeria Delta the Ogoni tribe have suffered dearly. The logo depicts a skeletons hand dressed in a business suit representing death and suffering from the cruelty of Shell Oils to the destruction of the Ogoni land, including the small businesses crushed by shell to reach globalization.

The human hand depicts Shell as a whole, and the healthy network they have built by devastating the Nigeria Delta. The leaf dripping with oil represents the trading of nature from both partners that leads to destruction.

The overall colour scheme represents Nigeria by using colours of the Nigerian flag that represents Mother Nature.

The vortex spread across the logo presents the torment and cruelty of Shell to Nigerian land; the light background leads the eye to the centre of the logo.
