Natrajasana - Lord of the Dance Pose ॐ Today I had the beautiful opportunity to lead a popup 60-30 yin yang class. 60 minutes of vinyasa, 30 minutes of calming yin. The serenity that comes with finishing with such a deep meditation is incredible and indescribable for some. Teaching is a moving meditation for me. I am fixated on my students and in the here and now. When I teach yin I try and create a mixture of guided meditations to assist my students in holding those 5 minute poses, and meditating myself, creating a room of peace. I believe that this peace we grew as a community this morning was what allowed me to flow like water, dance like fire in my own practice today. The energy we built up led me and another woman in my row to grab hands before savasana and we didnt let go. I felt her heart beat in mine as I drifted from consciousness. The sense of protection, peace and unity we can create through practicing together is life changing. A special thank you to the entire yogic community. Feeling gratitude and love for all my yogis and yoginis. Namaste
