We had an ice storm last night. Those always make for some decent photos. The red and white reminded me of Christmas; not sure what the fact that it’s a fire hydrant says about that…

12/2013 Smilodon with some noms (Bison Latifrons). Hope the bit of mural in the background doesn't make this too confusing, I can't decide. (It kind of looks like it's chomping on baby Arctodus!) Fun fact: Smilodon could open its jaws up to a 90 degree angle!

12/2013 The Merycoidodons were out and about today, so I thought I would snag this photo op. Kinda cute, no?

12/2013 Holiday time at the Museum! Our Columbian Mammoth decided to become festive, so I thought it would make a fun photo. Neutral tones with a splash of holiday red, and some nice lines for good measure!
