If you watch enough Seinfeld you'll realize. George and Elaine are both enamored with Jerry. Elaine has lingering feelings for him that disappear near the midpoint of the show but come back. George has been repressing his bisexuality and latent feelings for Jerry for years. Jerry likes the feeling of being wanted by them, but doesn't really feel much genuine affection for them. The only person Jerry might actually love is Kramer, who he goes out of his way to do things for he'd never do for anyone else.
